Of the two poll choices, The Dark Knight.
Obviously Marvel comics were totally superior to dc (except for the period when Jack Kirby worked for DC and illustrated Superman and New Gods).

One, you are obviously not a comic book fan if you listed only DC characters. Die hard comic book readers prefer Marvel as their is actual character/personalities and plotlines.
Definitely Spiderman. Shall we compare box-office revenues?
After Spiderman, Gina Diggers.
Of the two you offered, Batman.

What the hell have any of the things you have been talking about got to do with the poll question?
Superman would win in a fight, for the simple reason that Batman has no super powers whatsoever and must rely on some nifty gadgets and his ingenuity to fight crime. Plus, he has no kryptonite (spelling?).
Maybe you could talk about who the better character is, or who gives you the most pleasure to read, but as far as the poll's concerned, it's the more boring character who wins.

Batman. He doesn't need any wimpy powers like "Super"man.

Actually Batman does have a kryptonite ring that Superman gave him just in case Supes goes nuts or has his mind taken over. So yes, the poll is a very valid one as it has happened numerous times in DC history. And no surprise, but Batman always manages to not get plastered by Supes before he finds out what foul deed is going on.
And I think the initial questions in the first thread answers your question. These are only talking points remember.

Batman would have no chance against superman.
(I doubt he'd find enough kryptonite in time)

Who'd win the fight?
Superman.
Best Comic Book Character Ever?
Margaret Chuscarillo(sp?) aka Maggie the Mechanic.

I would argue that Brandy from Liberty Meadows is superior.

I wasn't referring to looks- Love and Rockets was/is one of the best stories put in a comic medium.

Awesome work, innit?
Rorschach is a tragic hero, with his flaw eventually bringing his downfall. There's a lot of characterisation in there for him. Doctor Manhattan is very powerful, but not the main character IMHO.

Can you imagine having sex with someone who's orgasms would crush your member to jelly? She's kinda hot though.

Of course, there was also an analysis of Superman making love with Lois Lane.
