virtual pool 2: 'best pool game ever"?
that's what the person at underdogs said. i have it, and i think it sucks. while using the mouse to stroke is nice and all, you have to hold down the mouse, which totally kills the illusion and the control. of course, some braniac could easily take apart a mouse and solder it to a pool stick for more realistic action, but as it is, i think even yahoo pool is better.

Hmmm interesting.

I'm not a great fan of pool games. I much prefer to actually play pool.

Yes.
You have to wonder what the point is. Surely no-one is that keen on pool that they would want to play on a PC when the pool halls are shut, or that sad that they can get no-one ot play with them.

I liked the last one best.......I think it was VP3. But I agree pool games on the PC aren't really the best genre.

well, the early pool games were popular for the "what if" question that was hard to duplicate in real life, eg: frictionless table, no gravity, funky table designs, etc. I think early pool games were great because of the lack of realism. who wants to chalk their stick on a computer game?
