Ok a bit of an oldie from before some of you may have been born
Clue1: This game now expresses an old world mentality between super powers.

Clue 2: in a grand tradition of the games at the time it featured many different styles of play.

No, i can see the first clue has thrown a couple of you
Clue 3: Its was an 'action' game rather than a strategy/war game, although it did have a strategic element

The Atari 8bit had slightly better graphics than this C64 version

I can't believe I got that from those vague clues.
Hehe, I actually considered doing it *last go*, so it was fresh in my mind.
I guess that means a new game from me later.

KOTOR. But it's Dr. Spike's turn and the game is outside the time frame.
Do read the rules next time, will you?

Yeah sorry Buck, you are not getting a point for something as blindingly obvious as that one.
Bipolarbear: welcome.
I am still thinking of a another game btw.

Patience Duke, I will think of a game. It is getting harder and harder though.
Ok, Clue 1:
Text adventure game. A pinnacle of parody, at least to this 12 year old when I played it.

Yup. I knew I couldn't do this one without making it too easy or too hard, but I had to do it anyway.
It's shamelessly juvenile, but I played this game a year or so back on an emulator and it still kills me at 25.
BotR was a landmark in adventure gaming. The lampooning adventure (right up to modern day Lucasarts classics) was popularised with this game. A true classic.

Damn! Now I have to think of yet another.
1) - I remember wasting hours playing this racer on my Amiga. You had a choice of vehicles and could choose depending upon the courses, but it didn't make any difference if you didn't pick up the power-ups.
There is a really obvious answer to this, and I'd like to say now that it isn't that!

Never heard of that.
Was that a guess, or were you just being rude?
