Has their been less moderation lately??
It seems to me that the mods are online less now than they have been. People are starting more than two threads a day in the OT and some of the topics are ones that would have drawn restrictions in the past. Is the culture here changing?
I haven't seen much of Mtg around lately eithier. With LTEC swearing off, has he lost interest. Even Ming isn't present as much as he used to be. Does he have a real life?? UR seems to be around less and less as well. And spotting Rah is becoming more of a rare occurance as well. Is something happening here??

Rah is active in the Other Games forum. As a player, anyway.

Yeah, Pluto is entering the House of Aries.
I think it's just a random occurance. You hardly see MtG posting he just lurks and executes people. Probably the same with Ming and rah.
At any rate, [DA] psychopath is just a random occurance. He could start a whole bunch of threads without any mods noticing.

You don't see much of me posting because I usually just delete the threads and then restrict the person via PM.
You never even know it happened
Moderation is pretty consistent to what it has been with the exception that UR does a better job of covering the early early morning hours in the US than the US based mods can. We do like to sleep every once in a while

I actually think that the mods have a rather nasty policy of closing too much threads which can end up fun.
Sometimes, it's ok to have 2 similar threads. Sometimes it's alright if a thread goes a bit a stray. Somtiems it's alright if a thread is silly.
I noticed in the last month, that alot of threads that a year ago would have developed into fun OT threads, are being closed.
The OT has generally deteriorated to being much less fun. And the serious discussions are seen much less, because, frankly, no one is there just for the serious discussions.
If you cut out too much of the fun, people stop visiting in general.

You're welcome to your opinion... but I would disagree with you. There are many "silly" threads still around, heck, Krazy Horses drinking thread lasted for over a day and wasn't closed until the meaningless bump posts started.
However... there are a "few" posters who are just here to bait the mods... and I'm not going to play that game with them.

Actually I've left more of the "FUN" theads open than in the past in the OT. Or at least until they degenerate into gibberish.

My image of you is shattered oh former all knowing-all seeing one.
Am I the only one who thinks that there are gaps in coverage that there didn't used to be? Maybe I am just more aware of when you guys are on line. Maybe the spamfesters are just more aware.
I do have a question though: If the post counts in OT don't count then why don't you see where the gibberish goes? I would imagine that some of that could get pretty funny to watch.

True, and I applaud that decision. But it feels as though it is the exception rather than the rule.

We don't get to close threads though, so it isn't as fun for us.

Much appreciated. I needed to blow off some steam, and that thread really helped.

I dunno...the mods seem to be around as often as before. I was surprised the other day when what's-is-name started several troll threads and they lasted for a few hours (the new guy/DL).

I'd say it's UP. UR isn't really any less active than before, so we've got more coverage.

I guess that this is the window of DL opportunity!
There usually aren't any online at this time. UR usually shows up shortly.

Maybe Apolyton has grown up? Maybe an Apolyton year is like five real years? The early years' novelty of belonging to an Internet community has surely worn off...

Even if all of are on-line, we may be busy. We do have real lives.
There are days when we catch something within minutes, or sometimes it takes an hour or two. But it will get seen eventually.
