Small Problem with Civ Choice Polls...
I will be very unhappy to tally the votes for the 3 different polls and find out that some people voted for the same Civ in all 3 polls. Please make this fair by voting for 3 different Civs in those polls. Thanks.

Good point. I didn't even think about that possibility. I'm glad I voted differently in each one then.

Good reminder. Perhaps best if people posted to record their vote as well.

Funny how these things tend to get needlessly complicated.

How will the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choices be chosen? Will it be with a weighted sum of votes like with the consul elections?

Yup - I assumed that was how it would work.

1st choice poll is worth 3 votes, 2nd choice poll is worth 2 votes and the 3rd choice poll is worth 1 vote. If everyone votes for a different Civ in each poll then the polls willl properly record a weighted poll in order to give us our 3 top choices.
But, someone could vote for the same Civ, giving 6 votes towards that Civ, which makes it unfair to those that actually choose differently, as they were supposed to, giving their first choice 3 votes and so on...
