Could a mod change my vote from no to yes?
You see, my assumption was that Laz would not go anywhere near civgroups (based on his aversion to smilies). An Apolyton storywriters group without Laz in it would be a sham, hence my voting no. With him supporting it, I am forced to change my mind.

Well, the results of the poll so far speak for themselves, I think.
Now, what about an official response?
PS: And yes, Markos, if we get the civgroup, I will personally review and submit to the directory every story written in the Civ3 Stories section. (Thanks for your confidence, btw, Chris. )

Thanks! That really saves me time vovan
I've only read a small fraction of the tales and can only reasonably write reviews for the stories that are actually in the contest

I only made the script. Markos does all the civgroup settings since he is the only one able to upload an icon. He also made the forum integration.

The "thousand" was meant for the "keepers", not the items of the to-do list (i wish )

 Very cool.
It'll be nice to see people recognized for their hard work... and hopefully those who don't post their stories will get yelled at for being in the civgroup.
