Well, I was right - here I am the next morning still standing in the corridor leading to the Arena.
The crowd left about 2am when they realised that they wouldn't see any action.

Sorry folks, I got buttslammed at work. Had one of those 3 hour marathon meetings in the VP's office.

Oooh, 2 draws, 1 win, 1 loss. Not too bad.
Do we have another round against those people, or just play the other 3 now?

I presume for the second round we can only allocate points totalling our hitpoints remaining after the first set of 3 rounds?

Would this be all vs all again, or just the winners from last round against the winners from last round?

That's because they normally don't do hard work like this. And again.

Wait. I'm confused. We get to fight the exact same people as we did last round? And we still have 100 points to spare for each person? What about the wounds? I mean, I gave Jamski and ADG a pretty decent whopping. (And received some from the good doctor...) Are we to lose all that advantage now or what?

No, that's counted as "wins" and "loses". We are all going to the infirmary to be patched up, and then in a few days, once recovered, we will all fight each other again.

Nice try ADG, I'll get you again next time
Orders sent
BTW: looking at HongHu's table, who would go through if it were to the semi-finals now? Obviously the Doctor, Princess and Vovan, but would Jamski (2-0-2) or myself (1-2-1) take the 4th spot? Or would we, as it seems, tie for 4th, and have a rematch?

No Vovan, you will have to outwit your opponent again. The wounds are all minor and do not affect the distribution of points (see Doc I told you this would be trouble).
Doc wanted a chance to change the stat against a given opponent, and I did not want the person that was ahead in point to have an advantage in the second round.
Games tend to be a little more exciting if you think that you can catch up if you are behind, and think that you can lose if you are ahead.

Okay, I reread the thread now, and I got it. Thanks I'll ponder the opponents' strengths and weaknesses and will PM the orders... some time soon. When are they due, by the way?

Hehe it's fine this way, just hitpoints are distinct from the points you allocate to A/D/P.
However I did think that with the second set of 3 round combat added it was only the winner of the 2 sets together that scored a win.
i.e if Vovan whacks me for 20, and I whack him for 5, leaving him on 65, and me on 70, does that count as 1 win apiece or just 1 win to me?
That latter is the way I envisaged it, but people are talking about wins and losses already.

Only one win, loss, or tie and the end of the second round. HH's table is just showing us who is ahead at the moment. The question of the winner still remains.
As far as getting the orders in. ASAP (but my target is still Fri 8AM CST). [if I don't set a date then no one will send them in )

Spaced: I know it's only showing us who's ahead at the moment, but I was wondering about ties.
Suppose I end on 2-4-2 (win-tie-lose) and Jamski ends on 3-2-3. Who would go through to the semis, or would we have a match between the two of us to decide?

I asked that earlier, and the answer was count wins first, then ties if necessary. So Jamski beats you in your set up.
