How's this geeky? We had to memorize the first 18 elements in the perioidic table of elements in order to pass chemistry in elementary school. I remember studying principles of the perioidic table and the properties of the substances (ok, not all, but the first 30 or so, I had really hard time relating to any of the substances except for some basic metals after Zinc) from a dictionary in school library when I was 10.

First grade of secondary (what is it called in there, "junior high school"?), 7th grade of the whole elementary school.

Lifetime Geekiness of 40.23669% Super Geek, current Geekiness after having been married for over 10 years and a 10 month old daughter - 30.17751% Total Geek. So with enough age, you can drop your Geekiness level. Plus, the designers take a shot at it - Chainmail and Pascal, but they miss quite a bit of vintage Geekiness.

Only 49%?? The test must be flawed.
How many points do I get for reading Moti's posts top-to-bottom in search of rational thought or does that break the scale?

Read the test - you get those five points for wanting extra Geeky points - that's right around 1%.
Ted, you obvious don't qualify as a Geek. The reason the test is so long is so they can evaluate the results and increase the degree of confidence (being married to a psych doctoral student has it's advnatages).

21 percent, largely due to computer ignorance. They should give points for things like extensive knowledge of Byzentine dynastic politics and being able to trace the historical roots of the Abigensian herecy to the Caspian Sea region
