Which actor would make the best Nwabudike Morgan?
This was a rather heated debate on the "Alpha Centauri: The Movie" thread. Somebody threatened to post a poll and I decided to beat him to it.

Shoot. He probably would be a good choice. Should have included him, but nobody mentioned him.

Dennis Haysbert, of '24' Parts I-III, and 'Far From Heaven'.
Alternatively, Michael Dorn.

CEO Morgan extends his left hand towards Yang, palm upwards.
"Bring it on," he says, and curls his finger upwards twice.

Yang proceeds to bring it on and Morgan cries as he realises he has met the one.
I still say banana
I've yet to see laurence playing a character with an evil edge though, morgan isn't nice, he'd destroy your family so he could have wine for supper.

Morgan Freeman is the most qualified of the ones presented so far. Now, if only someone came up with an actor whose first or last name is "Nwabudike"...

Did you see Bruce Almighty? Wouldn't it be a great farce to have Freeman sitting at Morgan's desk, dressed in his black, and instead say, "I'm Morgan."

Oh come on - isn't anybody going to vote for Jackson? Just to make me happy?
Do you realize that more people would rather see Morgan played by a banana than by Samuel L. Jackson? What gives? Can you imagine a banana trying to give the Mechant Exchange talk? I know I can't.

I didn`t realize this was actually considered a threat by someone. People are frightened of polls? I am threating on forums? Is this why no one posted another suggestion. Strange people here. Your "beating"
didn`t work because, as you say it,

But I must admit that the fact that twice as many people would like to see a banana giving speech about greed leading to the stars than Samuel L. Jackson and Denzel Washington combined, basically strange.
Does this mean that they are bananas who can talk and even act?

This poll is racist. Why only black actors? And its sexist too. They're all men.
I want Angelina Jolie as Morgan dammit. In black makeup. And in a double role as Miriam in a red wig. And in a triple role as Lal with a fake beard... and in a quadruple... fake Yang mask... naked as Deedee .....

Well, of the choices available, I picked Denzel, but I think an even better choice would be Robert Guillaume or Sidney Poitier.

Out of the choices, Freeman.
...and what's with this "evil edge" stuff? Compared to who? Yang? Santiago? Zak with his unethical research drones? What's wrong with wanting to hold on to what you make? Apparently his followers are very well off -- at least, that's the justification for the lower pop limits and support penalty. So what if he talks a hard ass money game? He takes care of his own.

Yeah but he's slightly evil because he
a) tells Planet to go **** itself
b) doesn't invest his capital in industry, but wastes it on luxuries.

I'd say he does invest a significant amount in his businesses, which is reflected in his economy bonus -- you have to admit, whatever he's doing, that economy bonus means he's doing it correctly .
I forget -- does he have a planet penalty? IIRC, he's allergic to planned, not green.
