Ditto that.

Good question. Guess they'll find out in "Last Sentient Standing"!
Actually I've never used one in a game before. When I first had the idea, why I fired up the Scenario Editor and put a couple of the units thru their paces. They do drop OK (except they can only drop onto a land tile, as noted previously), and they do attack with a power of 49 after the drop, but because I was doing this thru the Scenario Editor, why even when I didn't drop them, I couldn't induce the nuclear fireball effect against my "dummy" targets (i.e. Hive cities): the Scenario Editor is sometimes quirky like that.
Anyways, if your really that curious, you can add the line to your alphax.txt file and try it youself. Or you can wait and see if anyone survives long enough in LSS in order to use one.......

It is a fun, but:
I remember an old thread where the player forgot morgan after drowning him in fungus. And all of a sudden, he was attacked by a very healthy and prosperous Morgan running green.
You may try this trick with the Ursupers. They have -1 Planet and are unable to change this before cybernetic SE choice.

A questions about PB:
Is there a way to get them to detinate(the full KABOOM) without running them into a enemy base/unit?

I haven't tried this but I read somewhere that apparently you could self-destruct a PB and it'd nuke the area it was in.

I've played plenty of solo games where a strong AI like Yang decides to nuke me. Of course, it makes for good roleplaying when I see that a nuke is almost finished and I have to make a desperate push into his territory and shut it down before he surely nukes my capitol.
As for the launch restrictions, by the time that busters can be launched, the technology probably exists to shoot down a missile like that before it reaches its target, given enough warning. Therefore, it makes sense to launch from closer to the target.
In any case, for the normal sized maps, you can hit almost any target on the map except those on the opposite side of the Planet, so It's almost like being able to hit anything on the planet.
