Problem with batch/event files
For some reason when I get a scenario with an events or batch file, when I double click on it the black box pops up and disappears about a 1/2 second later. Anyone understand why?

You are probably running XP, and consequently need choice.com. I wish I knew where the download was.

choice.com is a little DOS program that makes multiple-choice menus possible in batch files.
You'll find choice.com in this thread:

Stick it in the same folder as the bat file.

Can you post a screenshot of the DOS Window and a copy of the batch file? What's the scenario?

Berzeker, although I'm going to go to the bed and I can't help you until tomorrow, I think that the best you can do is to get all the text files of the scen, zip them, and put them in this thread. When Civ chrased it's related to either the graphics file (that shouldn't have been modified by the bat file) or the text file (that have been modified by the bat file)
