I pick Kerry... but if the Dems pick anyone else, I'll have to back Bush.

Lieberman is first choice. Bush Kerry and Edwards are all ok. I realize that Lieberman is unpopular, Bush is dumb, Kerry is boring, and Edwards is unqualified, but most of the other guys have 3 or 4 of those qualities.

It's all right, Libertarians are closet fascists anyway, so you can add them together.

If the Democrats put Dean up as their candidate, odds are I will hold my nose and vote for Bush. So, damnit, don't nominate Dean! Or you're gonna have another Walter Mondale and George McGovern (bless his post-politics heart) on your hands.

Voted for all Dems but Sharpton, Nader and Green Party Candidate. Not sure about Dean though. Much prefer him to Bush, but one of the worst Dems as far as I'm concerned.

Unless Dean continues to tank horribly, I'll vote for him in the primary. Otherwise, I'll vote for Kerry.
In the general election, I'll voting Socialist (SPUSA, that is) unless something insane happens where Texas has a chance of going Democrat.

more about the party, and candidates
just a informative link would be good, but also what people have heard about them
I followed the link but didn't see that much
but what I saw was interesting
but I am not anarchistic, so you liking them is somewhat worrying
(maryland is probably going to go democratic, so I will vote third party in all likely hood, I don't like a lot of things about the greens, but if a vote would help them break the stranglehold that the democrats and republicans have I would vote for them, if SPUSA is more in line with my thinking, I would rather vote for them though)

They're not anarchists, they're pretty statist from what I've heard. There's a lot that I disagree with, but that's the case with every other party in the US.
They are real socialists (not just social democrats like the Greens) in the sense that a primary part of the party's agenda is to promote worker ownership of the means of producation. That's probably the most important distinction between the two parties (that I know of).
I don't have any links for you other than the main party webpage. Like here's their platform:
http://sp-usa.org/about/platform.html

Voted Kerry because, with a strong running mate, he has the best chance to take on Repubs in their "home turf" of national and homeland security.
I'm also strongly tempted to vote Libertarian in November.

Bush has an advantage in my eyes compared to view of other Americans because I only really know the stuff he does to other countries, and such. I don't really know what good or bad has he done in domestic affairs. And I pretty much like his foreign actions...

Ah, Imran, a man after my own heart.
Kerry does have wide appeal.
-
jon miller- if you want info about the candidates just go to
http://politics1.com
they do have stuff on anarchists- you just have to dig a little
-
Solver- hiss. I can't believe that... President Bush has singlehandedly managed to insult more traditional American allies than any president before.
The good-willbuilding he has managed in the former Soviet Republics does NOT offset the damage of relations which he has made in the amero-german union and with the Spanish and Italian and British common man!
