Sentry and Transports
Usually I put my garrisons on 'H' (hold) but after reading a post somewhere I decided to try something new - putting those units on 'L' (sentry) so they would activate themselves when an enemy unit is nearby. It has been working great with one exception.
Whenever a transport goes through a base, it often picks up all units that's on 'L' mode including my garrison forces. Is there any way to prevent transports from doing that? Some kind of toggle somewhere?

L is also the "load on next available transport" command, so short of not sticking transports in those cities, no.

The Mad Monk is right. I would advise using hold and then just paying close attention when enemy units are nearby.
I like to use L (sentry) for units in the field because I don't have to worry about transports picking up those units.

Ugh
Ah well, I guess I'll make sure my transports don't go thru ports and sea bases then. My war machine is so huge I've been waging war on four fronts and still have resources to expand and upgrade infrastructure.
What do you expect? I'm playing on that citizen level.
