ObjectDock is very well behaved with full screen games. I used to have problems back when I used Y'z Dock.

Well other than being a pretty launcher, that app has no purpose. The real Dock can do more.
Anyway some icons of mine.

ObjectDock can do more too, but I keep that disabled. I like the Taskbar.

That's not what I meant. The Dock can be used to control applications and report application status as well (e.g. Mail's Dock icon tells me how many unread messages I have and Photoshop's icon will tell you how far along a process is).

The Dock is one of the worst UI "inventions" ever conceived. It is universally blasted by any HCI expert you ask, including the guy who originally designed the MacOS GUI.
It's fine as a quicklaunch substitute, but once you do anything else with it it becomes a total mess.

I turned off all the useless crap in my dock, so it now just functions as a nice, self-hiding quicklaunch.
I use a weather plugin for it, too, that gives me the temperature and weather outside

Wouldn't it be easier to just... I don't know... go outside?

Wow, impressive. It's only 119kb after conversion. Here we go... Nothing fancy: good ol' win98 with the taskbar on auto-hide (my laptop has a 12 inch screen, so I use every trick in the book to maximise my viewing space).

Here's mine, kinda dull icons... How many of you have Civ3 still on your desktop?
No particular excuse for the background picture, I just happen to be madly in love with her.

It's "philosophie de la connaissance" (which means philosophy of knowledge" or "epistemology") and "épistémologie" (which means philosophy of science in french). I'm giving a course on epistemology this semester.
