Choose Skanky's Next Purchase!
Recommendations?
Both cost the same amount.
Also, does playing online with either of these cost money? If so, then I won't be able to do that (already in debt).

The main differences:
NWN has (from what I hear) a horrible singleplayer mode. Not immersive or intelligent at all. But it has a great online mode.
Morrowind (from my experience) has no online mode at all even incorperated. But it's single player experience is great.
They both have "easy" moddability, but since I prefer solo games I, of course, vote Morrowind.

The difference is: The CRPGs make you bored. The Alcohol makes you drunk. The Bananas make you full and happy.

I voted for alcohol since I know that Skanky used the word 'buy' in its loosest sense.

NWN has two expansions, actually. I don't know if the latest includes the first, or what.

I just got NWN gold for £30. That includes the first expansion. My CRPG mad friend said the expansion (1st or 2nd, i dont remember) was the best crpg story he had ever played.
Seems pretty good so far, although it does have the most pain in the arse, inescapeable tutorial ever Being happy when they all got butchered was not the emotion the programmers were expecting, I guess.

You CAN skip the tutorial the second time round. At least they were considerate enough to put it as a seperate chapter.
Regarding Morrowind : - The game world is very big
- The game world looks very nice (apart from the monster and character models which are UGLY)
- This means that a.) it takes forever to walk anywhere, and b.) it makes your machine run very slow.
- The rules system sucks.
- The NPCs are about as interesting as a dead dog.
- The game is so freeform that you have no idea where or what you are supposed to do. You just drift.
What else is there to say?

Jamski just has a crazy vendetta against Morrwind. Ignore his psycho rambling.
Well, the combat is sort of dull. I'll give him that. But you need the game, if only to know its beauty- in both story, size, and graphics (and the feeling of hopelessness even an advanced player feels with a new character).
NWN has (had? hehe) excellent graphics. The multiplayer game is free. If you want something like the MMORPG experience WITHOUT MONTHLY FEES, check out many of the 'Persistant Worlds' developed by fans.

You sound sarcastic...
Alright then, lets go for the negatives:
Morrowind:
- Randomly crashes, despite patches.
- Combat is repetitive and not modeled correctly, i.e. lower characters run from rats, medium characters can easily defeat the game.
- Dialouge with NPCs boring and closed- i.e. "yes" "no" responses are all you get.
- Gets a max of .0035 FPS, even on that Japanese World Simulator
NWN:
- Lamers online
- Bad central campign ( I didn't mind it that much, but I'm me.)
- Graphics hog.
- Overhead combat is a 'style'.
Alcohol:
- Gone the next day. You know why, but not how
