I really think people should vote ASAP! Next round we really should have a time limit...

Maybe we should elect a Village Mayor who has the power to make/change voting rules.
"No vote changing"
"Vote changing is now legal"
"No Doc piling."
"Doc piling is now legal."

As the village clerk and treasurer, I'm the closest to mayor
I hereby decide that all of you are allowed to change your votes!

I can only imagine the election:
"I vote for GhengisFarb"
"And I vote for Jamski"

Even if we implemented a time limit, it hasn't even been 24 hours since this round started, so, patience, Nikolai.
BTW, one more vote kills Spiffor, so if one of the six people that haven't yet voted votes for him, we will be done with this round, too. Well, as long as the Mafia doesn't take too long choosing the next kill.

I've received a vision. It tells me to vote Spiffor. Why, the vision does not tell.

I thought you already took over the ranch after the death of your boss. Unless..................
Your referring to a Mafia boss...... that would make you ......
Does this game remind anyone else of a Roleplaying game called Paranoia?

Inspector Hercules called yet another town meeting. This time, the people finally realized that something serious was going on in the village and most of them didn't just accuse each other due to personal dislikes, but actually based their votes on more or less clear judgement, although, of course, there still was some finger pointing. Most of the villagers kept calm during the meeting, but some apparently thought it best to lock themselves in their homes and wait this out. Villagers like Frozzy just didn't come to the meeting, thus forfeiting their chance to influence the public decisions. Others, on the other hand, like HongHu, were at the meeting, but chose not to voice their opinion for the fear of retaliation, in case the Mafia is not killed, even though inspector Hercules assured everyone he was doing everything possible to find and punish the murderer. Nobody believed him much, though, seeing how he was just about as clueless as everyone else.
And this cluelessness resulted in a rather odd kill. Spiffor, the city treasurer, who had been absent for the past couple of days, had just returned from a nearby town, where he negotiated some governmental funding for the village. But as soon as he got out of a carriage, he was greeted warmly by the inspector's revolver. Spiffor didn't even have a chance to learn the news of the terrible murders going on in the village, when he was tied up and taken to the main square. There, the gallows had already been set up.
Unfortunately for Spiffor, there had never been an execution by hanging in this village before... Thus the rope was made too short, and when the floor was pulled out from under Spiffor's feet, he flew down no more than about ten centimeters. That wasn't enough to break his neck, and he kept dangling on the rope for some minutes as the villagers watched his face grow blue and his eyes popping out of their sockets, and listened on to the gurgling sounds that were coming out of his chest. But the poor man's suffering didn't end there. Just as the world around Spiffor was growing darker, and his soul started to depart the body, the knot of the rope untied and the treasurer fell down... The blood had started flowing to his brain again, and just as he was coming back to his senses, Hercules came over and shot him from the police revolver.
Hercules, as the only person anywhere near to the position of power has now had to take over the position of village treasurer.

/me yells at all those Apolytoners not to party tonight. And that the village's business partners in Germany will be very displeased to have to deal with a ghost now.

So much for Spif's Iron clad Alibi.

/me just realizes he can't yell anymore actually.
Tsk. All these years of studies, all these years of service just to get killed by peasants merely waiting to be slaughtered

Hmmm... you know, this is strangely reminiscent of the Banquo's Ghost scene in Macbeth...
perhaps Jamski is the guilty party...
