No. Speed of light is 299 792 458 m/s so if it is in metres it is still slower than light speed. But if it were i kolometres than it would be about thousand times faster than light as you said.

That is correct. But I just pointed out that speed of light is about 300 000 km/sec, but not 300 000 000 km/sec as GeneralTacticus posted.
