Quick Start

Sorry for the dumb question, but could someone please tell me what is the actual effect of the "Quick Start" selection on the game menu?

You start with the same parameters of your last game, i.e. landmass, barbs settings, number and kind of civs, difficulty etc.
If you hit a bad spot in 4000BC, exit ('start a new game')then click on 'Quick Start' and immediately you get a new site, instead of having to go the the first and second screen of a normal set-up.
