Reminds me of when Lucy Lawless was singing (badly off-key) the national anthem before a Detroit-Anaheim NHL playoff game a few years ago. At the very end of the song, she whipped off her jacket, showing a red, white & blue tube top, which slipped off, exposing a pair of none-too-attractive breasts. Talk of the town for a week over here.

This was back when "Xena" was at its peak popularity. Personally, I never saw the appeal, both of the show and of Ms. Lawless. We like to have actual singers perform the national anthem here in Detroit; things must be different in L.A.

If this be true, then why does they're halftime slideshow flaunt the unplanned incident?

Halftime superbowl shows are always lip synched it seems. Not just Janet, but P.Diddy and the one he was singing with were obviously lip singing and Shania Twain from last year also lip synched as well.

Did anyone pay out the 20 bucks for the lingere bowl?

she's looking a bit dated. I remember her looking good in the early 90's in one of those movies she made.

do you guys really think all the songs are lip synced? remember there is a time delay on the broadcast. I used to think they did this to filter out any swear words. But obviously that can't be the case as they didn't do a very good job filtering out unwanted broadcasts.
