Major von Kalmbach was in a good mood. He and his men had successfully delivered another dispatch to the Russians. Better still, one of the sergeants was a native of Konigsberg and had recommended the "Red Boar" inn to him. Not only had the dinner been good but the landlord's niece who had served him was a buxom little wench who had cast several meaningful glances in his direction. It really was true that the girls could not resist a military uniform.

Bounty: Wanted one Sleazic Savdropov for desertion from the Imperial Army of Russia (and we aren't even at war) and assault upon a member of the Royal family of Russia.

This Warrant and other less important dispatches were sent via courier to the capital of Spain.

Tensions were high on the Ottomen side of the border, yet all were under strict instructions to keep a calm exterior. Nothing of this should be relayed to the Austrian.
