Major Von Kalmbach trotted his horse through the countryside towards eastern Prussia on a sunny May day and wondered how long the lull would last before all europe was again engulfed in war.

Dispatched to the Ottomon Empire.
After liberating their Portuguese comrades, the Spanish Empire now offers their military as a mercenary service. For the right price, the Spanish will aid you in a war with your enemies.

While awaiting his Austrian counterpart, Captain Emre spends a quiet day reading of the ever Mighty Spanish Empire... The British will be steamed about this

Thanks to Prince Von Lobkowitz having made an ill-timed remark to King George about his former colonies at the beginning of July, Janov was now out of scotch. As he penned his letter to the Prussians, he was forced to break open the little barrel his men had taken from a tired looking St Bernard crossing the Austrian countryside a few months back. Ah- some fine port!

Hi ric, welcome to the game. This conquest has turns that increment by 2 months at a time, so you should keep track of the months with save files. The current turn should be July, 1801. I'll send it directly to you to make sure it's the right one.
Do you understand everything else that's going on? Reading this whole thread could be a little confusing...

Bad news fellas. My hard drive is fried (on a friend's PC now). Taking it to a technician tomorrow, hopefully back soon.
Here's what happened: a friend of mine was given a PC, which was having trouble, so I tried to fix it for him. Tried to reformat his HD, it stopped responding. Brought it home, installed into my PC as a slave, tried to reformat it from there. It didn't respond. My PC started acting funny, and a day later, sudden collapse. Now my HD isn't responding. What do you reckon, a boot sector virus?

The Austrians take a long hiatus to do some landscaping. Vienna now looks as nice as Paddy's spread...
