What is wrong with Poly:
The Mad Viking provides an incredably informative post debunking the article, and on;y one post after it addresses it.
The rest go off to lala land.

Na, that's normal.
Think about it. Those who agree with it need to make no further comment. Those who don't probably avoid it.

Bush was an outsider?
Yeah, his "election" had nothing to do with his daddy's political appointees. For his cabinet, he picked "outsiders" like Cherney, Rumstead and Powell, people who had never been to the White House. And of course, Bush is a self-made man who pulled himself up out of terrible poverty without any help from "insiders"

Tingkai, Bush DEFINETLY positioned himself as an outsider. To say he didn't run that way and positioned himself as an alternative to 'insider' Al Gore is just not paying attention to the 2000 election.
Btw, EVERY outsider has party insiders in his cabinet. The last one to not do so was Carter and that was an unmitigated disaster.

Typical conservative distortion of the truth.
Most people reading this would think that Kerry received $300,000 from the Chinese military intelligence, but that's not true.
Chung worked for Liu Chaoying and was paid US$300,000 for business services rendered (Exactly where the money came from is in dispute). Chung then donated $35,000 to the Democratic National Committee.
Newsweek notes: "There was never any suggestion that Kerry knew about the dubious origins of Chung's largesse."

No doubt that Bush had a campaign of lies about being an "outsider", but that doesn't make it true.
Do you think he was an "outsider" or did he come from the American upper class that had long-time connections and involvement in national politics.?
Reagan and Clinton came from outside the elite, Bush did not.

Indeed. The connection is so tenuous, it is supported by dental floss and rotted pieces of wood. So Kerry gets a company on the NYSE, who later gets confidential info from an American company who Kerry has no ties to, who ends up giving that info to the Chinese. And Kerry is to blame for what exactly?

Would that be the typical Democrat voting in Florida?

While this may deserve a different thread, there are reports on today's news that Kerry is one arrogant SOB. The people Massachusetts of that know him say that he is a so-called "line jumper." When there is a line of people waiting for something such as driver's license renewals, you will find that Kerry always jumps to the front of the line and never waits in line. He also berates his staff for what he perceives as poor performance. There is a now famous incident involving his luxury motor yacht where he was heard screaming at them to do a better job. There's also the incident involving a fundraiser at one of his mansions. Rather than let the contributors use the facilities inside the house, Kerry placed portable potties out on the lawn.
This guy has attitude of an emperor, not that of a common citizen. Knowing this, I think they Kerry is the last man we would want as President of the United States.
