What is "Crown of the North"?
Here down under we havem't seen "Victoria" but we have seen something called "Europa Universalis: Crown of the North". It also includes EUII built-in. Is this our equivalent of "Victoria" or is it different again?

CotN is an English version of Svea Rike III, a game that came before EU1. the game is from whatI've heard not very good. As Tass already have pointed out, you also get EU2 with it.

A new game along similar lines as CotN/Svea Rike is "The Two Thrones" which has been released in scandinavia, goes on limited release in the US about now and as usual won't appear in the UK until we approach the next millennium. Its launching at budget price. Its focusing on the English/French struggle in the hundred years war I believe.
