I'm With Stupid XXXI - Stupid in Love
Just in time for Valentine's Day, it's IWS XXXI!
Rules copied from the last IWS:
Quote:
|
For each question, provide an answer. Any answer. Scoring is based on how many other people give the same answer. For example, if the question is "Do you hate George W. Bush" and 5 people say Yes, 1 person says No, and 3 people say Philly Cheesesteak, then each of those answering Yes gets 5 points, the person answering no gets 1, and those saying Philly Cheesesteak get 3. Needless to say, it's the same procedure as we're used to. As always, your wonderful answers should be PM'ed to the gamemaster who for once happens to be me.
|
- Who would you most like to be spending Valentine’s Day with?
- Which team will win next years Superbowl?
- What’s the most important course in an Italian meal?
- What is the most important thing you do on your knees?
- Which candidate still running will come last in the US Democratic primaries?
- What one word would you use to describe the Finnish justice system?
- What should be the title of the next IWS?
- Are men discriminated against?
- What’s your most vivid memory of the 80s?
- Am I the luckiest man alive?
This will run until Midday GMT, Sunday 15th February, presuming I'm out of bed
This is a long running OTF game. It is posted on OTF too, but I thought I'd post here too in order to try and get more people entering. Results will be posted in both

Spike: Yes, last time we got 19 entrants, I'd like to get above 20 this time.
DoY: The name comes from tha pack mentallity, where everyone picks not what they think is right, but what they think everyone else will think is right. Hence Bush won "Worst president of the 20th century" even though he wasn't president in the 20th century. You just have to think stupidly and win. The best two on record are IW and Gangerolf, although Kass usually comes up pretty high. IW's won 4 and Gangerolf 3, IIRC.

Why? It's a long running forum game. It's no more spam than Mafia, Forumla 2, Gladiator or any of the other forums games. This is where it belongs, it was just started on the OTF, so it has stayed there. However some people here never go to OTF, but may be interested in playing, so I thought I'd mirror it here.
Anyways, nobody from here's entered yet Come on, it's fun seeing all the stupid answers people put

But it usually just consists of people posting
SENT!
and nothing else. I can't imagine that rah will look too kindly on that.
Besides, I entered twice, trying to get the minimum score on my first attempt and being denied by Skanky's blatant cheating, and coming in a UEFA cup place on the second. I know why it is called IWS, but still don't think it's a good idea in this forum, game or not.

I too think it is legitimate for the Other Games forum, especially as it opens the game to non-OTers.
And since the OG forum goes muss less fast than the OT, there will be less need to spam the thread by bumping it.

These questions are too hard. I don't know the names of any american poleticans that are not presidents, and I certainly don't know any "american rugby" teams

Neither do I. Here's a hint, all the questions are either silly things I made up, or were taken from the first page of OTF this afternoon. Put anything you want, and see if someone agrees.

If you wish. That is optional, but a good check, if you say sent and I haven't got it, then I know something's gone wrong.

While that was my first reaction too, I think it is legitimate. I mean, many people who frequent this forum say quite often that they avoid the OT like the plague. We may very well get more people playing through posting it here too.
I guess we will see at the end if this stays open how many eventually enter.

Hehe ok, I'll think about some answers later. Though you said some questions came from OT discussions right? Surely they should be more random, since people in those discussions might answer the same way.
