The 1.20 patch is out and I would like to suggest we all use this patch. I read 1.20 saves can't be opened in earlier versions, therefore we have to patch up all together, otherwise we jam. Sixpack and Sensei don't like to check the forum too much as you have noticed. I'll inform them.

guys I've read that there are serious issues with the new patch, especially with respect to multiplayer. I think it might be better wait for a bit before patching...
A very pissed off account of the new patch
It's possible that this only relates to games played over the net/lan, but to be safe it might be better to stay with v1.15.
Lets just all hope for a quick resolution!

Quite inept really - I would have thought that something as obvious as that would have been noted!

Eh...??, this is not my thread??
I swore I got off at the right stop. Damn I must be in the red light district again. I just hate it when that happens.
So how goes it with the European Games.

I'd prefer to hold up patching a few more days, see if any other short term problems turn up. If all clear then we can upgrade.

Yup, it's probably best to wait for a bit before patching. What a debacle.

Has the game allready progressed to Andydog? Otherwise, I'll get to Sensei. He's just started a new job and likes it so much he only seems to work, sleep and eat. I'll point out the priorities...

BTW regarding the patching... it seems that with 1.22 you canīt load saves from previous versions, so we will be "stuck" with 1.15 for at least a year

You refer to the note in bold on top...
A little bit doen:
* PBEM: v1.20 Games can not be loaded on earlier versions. Earlier saves can STILL be loaded in v1.20
And 1.20 games are to becompatible with v 1.22
Still confusing... I might give it a shot when the games comes my way..

Looks like you need to load your old v1.15 PBEM's in 1.20, play and save, and then load the new 1.20 Sav in 1.22.
I haven't received the sav yet - it's somewhere between Sixpack and Sensei.
