I guess you already knew or suspected this but I am in. I suggest we keep our emails off the main boards and send them to you via pms. I have one coming your way right now.
Just one thing send me a sample asve pbem file to see if I can play it and send it back to you. My PTW will not let me initiate pbem for some reason. Regular games are no problem even muliplayer other options. Strange?

Cool, pretty sure mart7x5 is out of touch for the week because we are both playing another pbem together. If you really want to get started though there is another option in addition to this one.
At GMT+10 I'd lay money that Rasputin would love to get a pbem going with you and I in addition to this one if you are interested. We have one already that is pretty well along but another player would be cool too in another PTW pbem. I keep odd hours so playing with the Aussies time table works out ok for me so we can quickly shuffle turns around via email.

Ahh, too bad. We will start a small pbem 2 player then and when you get your new monitor then we will start the larger 3 player. Sorry to hear about that. Hope you get a new monitor soon. Will wait for you for the three player game.

If you have room for another, I'd enjoy playing in a game with more than two players. Email is joehn@juno.com

Hi,
Thank you for wishing to join the game, the following game setup is at the present moment:

Please write your preferred civ, if you haven't done so yet.
A small change in the world settings, this should probably make game more balanced: climate is set to average - thus everything is going to be average....

Hey all, going to add my email below. Also if anyone is interested I have created a custom .bix for quicker start pbem that I can customize for this 6 player and two AIs for us to use. It can be set to any map size and number of civs but it has the following current parameters for starting human players to enable a faster intial starting postion and game play.

40 Gold
2 Settlers
2 Workers
1 Scout
These units typically make the opening moves faster for the human players in a pbem and the AIs if playing on diety do not need any help as they will automatically get additional starting units. Note: the Scout unit is in addition to the expansionist trait scout and civs not possessing that trait cannot build more later.
Also this .bix looks pretty using or 'pointing to' snOOpys TerrainX, Lush Cities, and Industrial Sprawl of which all three art files are included with the default install of PTW. All that is needed is for all players to agree they want to use this .bix and then to distribute the file. If you guys want this then tell me and I will post the file here for us all and mart7x5 can use this scenario as the set-up for the other game parameters to add onto.
Looking forward to a great long game with a lot of players.

EDITED
That is good idea, i would add also 2 worriors, so it helps even more with exploration and increases security in the first turns against barbarians - that should not unbalance game that much. So...:
40 Gold
2 Settlers
2 Workers
2 Worriors
1 Scout

You have Rasputins address from the other game right? I believe he is currently into random to learn the different civs but he is getting a new moniter at the moment. His other blew-up in a storm earlier this week.
Also do you want me to make the scenario files or do you want to. I have a 2 and 3 player pbem set similarly but not a 6 player yet.

I can setup the game and create a new thread for that, but you are welcome to start the game too if you wish. you have the bix file. Let us wait for Jhnolte and Rasputin to confirm their choices. i have sent one mail now, still one to go.

Alright I will modify the .bix for six human players and two more warriors and 2 AIs and send it to you. That way when everything and everybody is ready you can start the game as you see fit.
