DEFENSE/ECONOMIC REPORT
Ashdod requires urgent replacements for its lost AA artillery. I have sent AA artillery from Tel Aviv to Ashdod, but I fear we may need another one. Tel Aviv should rebuild its AA now.

NORTH FRONT
Golan: Heavy fighting reported, at least two Syrian bombers, two T34s and a few early tanks destroyed. Kafer and Metullah expected to hold against the enemy, but the situation in Mishmar bothers me, as enemy tanks with artillery approach from the northeast and enemy infantry advances to the southwest. If Mishmar falls, Metullah and Kafer will be left isolated and surrounded. IT MUST NOT FALL. Tiberias is also vulnerable to an enemy assault if Mishmar falls. IT IS IMPERATIVE for Mishmar to hold. NOT ONE STEP BACK! Please note that the Kibbutznick near Tiberias was attacked, this concerns me, as any attacks on the weak western flank that come in force may very well capture Tiberias and isolate the Golan.

HOME FRONT
HEAVY enemy activity reported. Palestinians advance on Gesher or Beth Shean with artillery support. Ein Gev has been reportedly surrounded by Syrian enemy, and they bring artillery support. Neutralize the enemy artillery when it approaches its targets. The interior is reportedly tranquil.

SINAI
The Egyptians advance in force against Ashdod, tanks and cavalry reported. However, these are not our primary concern, as the garrison is heavy and artillery numerous to help repel the enemy. It is Egyptian air force that concerns me. We have lost vital AA guns in Ashdod, I have sent some from Tel Aviv for replacements. We did down an enemy bomber, though, I believe.
Please note enemy artillery to the northwest of Tekumah.
Also note, the enemy amasses around Eilat. I would suggest some form of action in the near future to pillage the roads that join Eilat to Egypt and to Jordan, to keep on the safe side.

JUDEAN FRONT
No considerable enemy activity reported. Kibbutznick working outside Sedom was attacked, but the enemy attack was repulsed.
Congratulations, I am going to appoint you acting commander of the Home Front, until either General Sadeh returns or we find a new commander.
Rock on, Gentlemen.

Major Rasputin: PLEASE NOTE
You may move any units stationed in cities designated with an "F" as well as any units in the immediate region/vicinity. That is your command, the Sinai, so be careful about making sure you don't move another commander's units.

Thank you El for that very concise report. I liked the newsscroll particulary, that was a good effect. Thank you for the picture as well, though I'm looking at the save as I type this.
1. First of all, the immigrants in Cyprus move now, so we may want to return that transport and pick up some labor.
2. I'm glad we got that money from the overseas community. I propose we buy two T-34 tanks, and a spitfire/messerchmit. (I'd prefer spitfire, but do what seems best). We can also skip the plane and buy three T-34's. T-34's cost 500 each, a spitfire 600. I see the T-34's intially operating as firefighters. They are very mobile, and should be dispatched to threatened sectors. In this case, one to the Golan, and one to Ashod F or Degania S.
The spitfire would obviously be anti-air.
Deployment of these forces would be up to COS, the above are only suggestions.
I would like the Econ Minister to start his own thread on the buying of such weaponry, or post such discussion in the Econ thread.
Also, the T-34's must end their turns in a protected area. These are precious units, and we don't want to lose them. Front Commanders must keep in mind to protect their T-34's.
3. The enemy has mobile T-34's and armored cars, so be especially careful in protecting units, especially in border lands like Jerusalem, the whole Negev, and the settlements in the Galilee.
4. The most threatened areas appear to be the Golan, Ashod F, and the Galilee settlements. Eilat and Negev settlements are exposed.

Actually, we should probably focus on buying the weaponry first, because it can be used this turn. Thus, while I'm sad we still seem to have slackers, it's actually slacking that gives us time to decide on the purhcase of weaponry.

Move a Zionist worker to the square first, then it should work.

Yeah, Zionist workers have to 'lead' the refugees overland. You have to move the whole stack one square at a time, starting with the zionist worker each time.

1. Please create a Sinai thread, and post the answer to my question there. Pretty pictures are optional too, but recommended
2. Next time, please put you the date, and name of the front on the saved game. It's what's typically done in demo games, so the files can be better organized.
3. The question: Where was the Arab plane and artillery taken out? By what city?
4. Why have the roads around Eilat not been pillaged? (Albeit, this should have been done a while ago). And what about those armored cars by Ashod. (I guess a tank could take them out, but not much else without leaving those troops outside and exposed).
Good turn, nevertheless.

Hard to defend the east against the Palestineans. 1 kibbutznik lost in battle, and 2 more are near certainly doomed, unless help arrives.
Casualties:
1 kibbutznik
assorted minor casualties
Kills:
3 Terrorists
1 Artillery
3 Arab Cavalry
This may have to be my last turn for a little while. I have so much work, I may not have a chance to play.
