If it's from CIV III it's a hoot since I have won the game but don't remember the ending except that I wasn't impressed. The game was so awful I haven't played it since, except for a few hours after MP came out, (which was equally bad)
Fifth Element is one of my fav movies, and when Bruce wins the trip to Flosten Paradises, I believe the mail piece anouncing it had some weird version of you're winner. So I was just curious.

It is hard to convey irony in posts. However, three questions marks and three exclamation marks with a wink smiley should just about manage it.

Well , I'm going to go ahead with this project but it will take some time. I could use some help on the mafia games, gladiator and nuke games. I'll be looking for a short summary personalized as much as possible.

And I've got to the busy time of the month at work, but I'll do what I can.
I'll take one of the mafia games (in fact, I'll take X, because it's just finished and is still on the first page ), and so if someone else could take the others and the other games, we can either post our summaries here or PM them to rah.
Mafia -
Mafia II -
Mafia III -
Mafia IV -
Mafia V -
Mafia VI -
Mafia VII -
Mafia VIII -
Mafia IX - Zopperoni
Mafia X - duke o' york
Mafia XI - still playing
I'll try to remember to update the Mafia list if we get any more volunteers, and hopefully someone can do the same withe the other games. This shouldn't be too difficult for Formula 1 and Gladiator, but I have no idea how far the Nuclear War games have got, or what has happened in them.
Come on people - YOUR FORUM NEEDS YOU!

Mafia X
In the days since the village of Apolyton had been (last) plagued by the curse of the mafia, then the evenings had certainly not been quiet for the villagers, as the population had risen to 24. The village economy was booming, and as the prosperity grew, wicked agents of organised crime once again turned their greedy eyes on Apolyton.
One morning, the village postman, a Mr Purple Shoes, discovered the body of the grain farmer Jonny, impaled by a pitchfork. This discovery sent the quiet village into a frenzy, and daily lynchings were held as part of a concerted effort to drive out the evil of the mafiosi. The killings in the village increased, as another mafioso began to strangle citizens in cold blood. Seized with revolutionary fervour, the villagers swiftly killed off the village nobility, and all those in positions of authority were terrified that their cherished jobs would bring them to the attention of the bloodthirsty mob. As the number of dead grew, so did the frequency of ghostly visitations, as dead villagers tried to persuade their former neighbours that they knew who the mafia were.
The deaths increased and the four remaining villagers began to consider bringing in a gravedigger, as the streets were beginning to smell and the tourists no longer came to Apolyton. Rather than staying up all night in the hope that they could catch the mafia in action, the villagers retired to bed, and prayed that they would make it through the night. Vovan, as one of the sneaky mafiosi, went to ADG's house to throttle him, but was caught unawares and impaled by his fellow mafia.
When the three surviving villagers met in the square the next morning, Hercules and Spaced Cowboy correctly identified ADG as the last mafia, and brought the curtain down on Kassiopeia's finely-balanced tragicomedy: the village looking forward to a new start free from the shadow of the mafia..........
Host - Kassiopeia
Mafia - vovan, ADG
Winners - Hercules, Spaced Cowboy

:bump: Here's my submission for Mafia IX.
Mafia IX - There is a "me" in "murder" [Part 1 and Part 2]
Host: Zopperoni
Mafia: Jonny and HongHu
Survivors/Winners: Hercules and Skanky Burns
Summary
For the ninth time in the history of the village, it was back: the Mafia, ready to murder the innocent in its ruthless style. Two ruthless styles actually; the first murder was committed on inn-keeper Guynemer. He was stabbed through the heart with a bayonet, and subsequently tied to a flag staff. MattH was the second one to be killed through strangulation.
What followed was an alternating series of Mafia killings, exhausting ladder climbs, and people with (at least) one "a" in his name being killed by the village.
That was until one of the Mafiosi, Jonny, was strangled by his counterpart. So much for organized crime.
The strangler was allowed to strike three more times before the final round. Three survivors, one Mafioso, and one last chance to get it right. Hercules voted for HongHu and HongHu voted for Hercules, which left the decision with Skanky Burns. There was a very tense atmosphere that afternoon in the village, but when Skanky Burns also voted for HongHu, the curtain fell for the second Mafioso.
The burden of having to re-populate fell on the survivors Hercules and Skanky Burns. The ghost of Sheriff Tassadar was in disbelief, and words that would not pass traditional censorship echoed through the village.
Alternative Ending
Because the game was not going to be decided until I woke up the next day, I decided to take a gamble and wrote an ending that I could post the following day. I took a gamble that Skanky Burns would vote for Hercules; it didn't turn out that way, but here is the ending that I wrote for that particular scenario anyway:
It was decided. The people of the pub had voted against the fisherman. A fishing wire would be used to cut his throat and end his life.
HongHu had had too much. She couldn't see any more deaths, so she stayed behind at the pub while Skanky Burns went to witness the execution performed by Dr. Zopperoni.
"How could a man who kept us alive these past few days be such a cold killer?", Skanky Burns asked himself.
The death was gory, but still swift, and Skanky and the doctor made their way back to the pub.
When they walked in, they saw HongHu, hanging in front of the bar.
"NOOOOO!!!", Skanky screamed.
Dr. Zopperoni felt her pulse, she wasn't breathing. Both men got her down and performed CPR, but no luck, alas.
Dr. Zopperoni found a note on the bar and handed it to Skanky Burns. Skanky read what was on the note:
Mild is the parting year and sweet
The odour of the falling spray;
Life passes on more rudely fleet,
And balmless is its closing day.
I wait its close, I court its gloom,
But mourn that never must there fall;
Or on my breast or on my tomb
The tear that would have soothed it all.
"She saved me", Skanky said, "she was the last killer"
"Let's have a drink on the terrace", the doctor suggested.
A tear fell from Skanky's eyes into his glass of beer. As the tear caused a ripple in the glass, both men looked at the sunset knowing that they would be there to experience a sunrise the next morning.
Game Over.

Re Mafia IX , The ending, maybe Zopp could amend it to mention that in the final Honghu voted for Hercules, leaving Skanky with the agonising choice. This might reflect the tension/excitement a bit more. Also the exciting tie between Kass and myself, I feel is worth a mention.

Mafia V111 The Sign of Death Part 1 Here Part 2 Here
Host: Vovan
The Mafia V111 game was noted for the introduction of 2 Mafia, the end of the two turn rule, (if Mafia killed in first two turns, so be it, no replacement). Also vote changing was forbidden. There was a cast of 24.
Vovan, (author, GM) set a brilliant and atmospheric opening scene as Osweld, an alchemist, arrived in the village by taxi, driven by Tassadar.
Tass described who lived where and did what in the village including a tour round the thriving industrial district. Tass was the first to be killed in what turned out to be series of gruesome and graphically described Mafia murders and yours truly (Hercules, as village policeman) had a hand in a couple of deaths, killing of the victims of botched village executions.
Rumour and counter-rumour fed the village gossip machine over a period of 4 rounds, in which Jamski ( shepherd) survived two tied village votes by means of a mass lamb sacrifice and the gasoline burning of a favourite goldfish for the second survival.
The most shocking Mafia killing in the early phase was that of tailor, Kassiopeia's seamstress assistant, Honghu. She was killed by the 'Stiletto' killing Mafia while being sick in the gents loo in the village Inn. Honghu repeatedly claimed that she never was paid (at first I thought she said 'never was laid'), by Kass which threw suspicion, fatally, his way.
Meanwhile my investigations and over zealous dispatch of the botched execution victims drew me to the attention of the 'mutilating' Mafia. So I joined a lively bunch of ghosts who tried to make their presence heard with an array of ghost fonts.
Meanwhile the dogged persistence of Osweld in his conviction - a suspicion echoed, in jest, by Drogue and Kass at times - as to who was the Stiletto Mafia, was taken up with gusto by Ghengis Farb. And in fact Ghengis's evidence, largely ignored from the start but confirmed he felt by a connection to a 'Princess Bride' link, led to his untimely death.
In between the killings , the villagers were treated to: Guynemer's Grog (likened to industrial cleaner); transvestism; draconian language lessons and marvelously gruesome, graphic and inventive story telling by Vovan.
But in the end it was the 'Stiletto' Mafia's audacity in killing, not only the other Mafia player, but those who dared name and vote for him that brought his downfall. While he survived a tie against ADG, the next turn (round 9) he, Rah (the Inn keeper) was identified and killed by the remaining villagers, led by Skanky Burns.
CapitanGarlic ( apothecary) was the second Mafia, whom Rah sussed out and dispatched to avoid being accidentally killed himself. Though I mentioned CapitanG in round one, he fooled most all by and large.
The Mafia : CapitanGarlic and Rah.
The winners were: Skanky Burns, Alva, Jonny, Guynemer, Vlad Antlerkov and Frozzy.

I must have missed it, but is it going to be called "Hall of Game"?
This would lead to some TLA jokes such as "Rah, grandmaster of the HoG."
