Attention Magic players: Register your opinion, but keep it brief!
Such is the message of Mark Rosewater's recent article Talk To Me. You may e-mail him answering some or more than some of the 100 questions in the article - but you must not use more than a total of 100 words.

It's much, much harder than it sounds. But it's worth it - it's not often that Wizards of the Coast actively solicits the public's opinion.

And judging by the types who hang out on the official message boards, it may be the last time.

I didn't mean you!

I meant the people who don't believe in punctuation or capital letters.

I meant the people whose life experience comes solely from listening to Metallica.

I meant the people who rate every single card by how far it will get them in the Pro Tour, and never stop to smell the roses, as it were, nor to appreciate a verse from the Rime of the Ancient Mariner.

I meant the people who pigeonhole the other posters as "n00b" or "Timmy" or "scrub" just for expressing their liking for a creature like Craw Wurm or Tangle Golem.

I meant the people who don't understand that Magic is for everyone, not just for adults or for children or for blue wizards or for "Mage-Punks".

And if I may say so, I don't think that would apply to you.

Sorry.

I don't play magic that often, but personally I think the black series are the best. My friend got me into magic on a beginner's level. But ya, I find that the black has lot's of good strategy utilizing the undead and whatnot, and graveyard sifting. Personally, I feel that the gren and blue tend to have these really cheap and undehanded tricks that serve to only filibuster the game's progress.

Yeah, that's why the fun in Magic comes from making theme decks that work.

It's amazing the amount of creativity the game affords, which is why I wish MtG just made a free online version to play.

I know we tried that with apprentice, but we never seemed to be able to get any games off.

I suppose we could play a game by posting, but that would be hard.

It'd be cool, kinda like magic online. my frined is addicted to that. The only hard part would be believeing people whne they draw cards from their deck.
