The GIMP is great. And it's free!!!!! And it has a cool name. 
I don't have 350 bucks to spend on Photoshop which I would use merely for fun.
Anyway, when I get FreeCiv running I'll post a shot of that.

So you're ditching OS X for Linux?
And the point was FreeCiv screenshots are rather pointless. Seeing as:
1) It's not a desktop
2) It's ugly as hell
3) It's available on all platforms

Nope - I installed Fink and I'm thinking of installing the new KDE on my machine. I don't need to install Linux to do that.

So if you're not using Linux or planning on using Linux, explain why you'd use a "Think Linux" background?
You don't need to install Linux to use KDE on Windows either, btw.
