Don't make any more picks folks, we have a problem. Gimps took V Wells and got it in before Imran gave him what must have been the Gimps pick in the PM he sent Imran. Santana should still be available to everyone after the Gimps picked. I'm happy with Lopez and I'm assuming LoA still wants Manny so Vlad, Imran, antlerkov and asleep should have the option of taking Santana.

Argh... can you people PLEASE send me who you REALLY want with your lists? We've had this problem twice!
I may have taken someone else with my pick otherwise... but nevermind now.
Guy you are up.

Hey, hey... we can give Stuie a little break. I mean it hasn't even been 3 hours since the last pick .

It'll be 24 hours by the time he shows up and that'll be 2 turns in a row. If we all took a day to make our picks we'd be done by the all star break.
Oh wait, I think he checks in the morning so that'll be maybe 12 hours.

2 turns in a row? No one has hit the 24 hour limit.
We wouldn't be at the end of the 3rd round if anyone did.

Stuie's 2 times to pick, the first was around 12 hours, since we only have about 12 hours of the day when people make their picks, the remaining 12 are virtually wasted.
See, I knew I could stretch that into a day
If you look at my post, I lowered Stuie's delay to 12 hours.
But seriously, why do people disappear during primetime and not leave a list with a couple people like you and me? If we all took 12 hours to make a pick we'd still be picking at the all star break. Do the math - 12 people at 12 hours per pick = 6 days per round with 20 rounds that's 120 days or 4 months. Someone has to light a fire under the toes of slackers... It's just a matter of being courteous to the rest of us who make the effort to get this done...
Leave us a list folks if you can't visit the thread each night during primetime.

Tenous logic and I reject it .

Because they know they'll make a pick TOTALLY different from their list, no matter who is on it .

But when that has happened the person showed up quickly to correct it. Even Gimps got his change in before you could post his PM pick thereby making you look rather foolish and causing us a delay.

He posted his pick as I was putting in the picks. If he followed procedure (ie, put it at the end of a list), he may have done it after me .

Now Stuie, don't get mad, Imran and I are just debating the matter. If our debate helps you grow a conscience, well, that's for the better.
As I recall, it was Stuie's 1st turn around 6 pm pst or 8 pm my time. He didn't show up until the next morning wasting our primetime for picking. And he did it again tonight...

Gimps beat you by 4 minutes but for some reason you didn't even notice that he posted his pick and that oversight caused the problem, i.e., Slow is right, you weren't doing your job.
Argh! Alright, I'll shut up from now on. We'll get our picks in with plenty of time to go...

He didn't post his pick when I checked the thread and saw jdd's picks. You know, it takes a while to get to my PMs and see who's next on the list and then see who is next in line and check if they have a PM, then put everything in order in the list and then go to Yahoo and put the changes in (which is just as long) and THEN hit the "Submit Post" button.
Sorry, but it's gonna take me 5 minutes or so to do all that when I have a bunch of PM's.
I was definetly doing "my job". If you send a list in, I'm going to go by that list if I don't see that you've made a pick yet. That's my job .
And you were the idiot who stopped the draft! Obviously if he had made his pick before I post the list pick, the player's pick stands! DUH!
