I don't see any candidates I would have a problem with.

I do - that duke o' york is a shifty character at the best of times. I wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him.
In fact, I'd be willing to bet that he's already siphoning off research funding to pay for his lavish lifestyle with Hydey's amazons. (I've also heard he bought his degree from the Hollywood Upstairs Medical College)
Other than that -

Pull up a chaise-longue. I'll see if I've got any spare amazons for you. I suppose I only need one to feed me grapes at any one time. Welcome to the Ministry of Science!
PS - Next week we're er, having some more really important discussions at the Department of Trade and Industry. Let's see what MWIA's hospitality is like.

Going for A/C seems to be terminally boring to most citizens in the latter stages... Let's just try to kill everyone.

We're already off the path to AC as far as OCC is concerned, and it would be more fun to come from behind and behead the other civs' leaders.
As far as Science is concerned, then I don't think we're researching things quickly enough to require a new poll. Just play with the results of the last one.

1. Get me Trade/Caravans
2. Get me contact with another civ
3. Get me a way to get to said civ
THEN I'll post some orders.

Has this new fangled republicanism frozen us into inactivity?
Doesn't seem to be much game playing going on here recently.
The citizens aren't actually revolting, but they're not a pretty sight.

Yay! Don't expect any further input from the Department of Education until we get further along the tech tree.
Good luck with the turns though.
