It is a clue for the title.
"Sharp weapon" of "Lord of the Rings character".
Replace the words in quotes with the word/s of the title.

Nope, I missed the character destiny in LOTR
You had heros and troops in this game, both that would level up. You recruited troops from your cities and could build items (for the city) there that increased income.

Sword of Aragon.
It's Arago rn!
There was also a game called Strider I remember. I wasn't too fond of it though.

Duke has it, and the clue was close, not dead on. IOW, I could think of anything else that was even close to give as a clue. although I'll be willing to bet that Aragon is a city in Europe, possibly France.

Obviously I was thrown by the misspelling of Aragorn.

I'm sure that if you went to Aragon, then they might dispute that as being their only claim to fame.
Question to follow (when I think one up).

It is pretty close to the migga version, since I grabbed it a while back for old times sake. Although the battles can take foooooorever, the game is one of my old favs.

A Capcom arcade game, released in 1984.
Start guessing!

You're winner!
I promise to be far less lazy next time, but I've got lots of work on at the moment, and couldn't be bothered with thinking of more complex clues or a more obscure game.

Oh no, it's been done several times before. Possibly even in this thread. I checked first, before making it so easy. I wouldn't want to leave myself open to Spikey's ridicule now would I?

Hehe it has been guessed that fast before, but I doubt in terms of seconds it has. I thought we'd need more clues so just threw in an 'obvious' choice from that era. Literally 3 seconds of thought.
Ok game later.

Spikey! We need a new round, and you're in the illustrious position of posing the first question!

Well i've been adding them as they've been guessed in this thread. Its upto to you if that fills you with confidence or not
I'ts a shame that we lost some of the earlier(Game 1-3?) count - but since game 4 this list should be accurate.
