I posted a screenie below the High Ordinator armour pic, but incorrectly labelled it. I wear this armour because it gives great protection for little weight. I wear an exquisit robe over the top of it so looks aren't that important.

Armor appearance is not as important as the rating, since I wear a robe over it, as I am a mage.

Yeah, I wear a robe too. I also prefer armor with a higher enchanting potential, since the armor rating matters a lot less when you're regenerating health faster than you lose it.

What enchantments do you put on your armour?
I have a CE ring of healing +4, CE fortify luck +24, and heaps of Golden Saint souls to enchant the rest of my stuff with. Just don't know what to do with them.

i generally wear an enchanted robe, and I pick my armor, based on the weight, adn protection offered. I liek to stick to medium, b/c it doesn't weigh much. I don't know what ordinator armor is rated at, but I love that stuff.

These are all CE, but I've got Telvanni helm with 100 Night Eye, restore fatigue (only 5 points needed for that) on most of my armor pieces, and a Daedric shield with a heaping pile of Sanctuary on it.

I'm guessing that lights will attract possibly unwanted attention, and it's impossible to be stealthy when your every move is magically lit. It's a shame that the spell wasn't called Eyes of Night though......
Just keep eating carrots.

I always thought the caarots thing was just a wives tale. WHatever, I eat mucho carrots, and my eye of the night is ok.
I guess also, night eye probably lasts longer, and moves with you, where as light, is sort of like napalm without all of the burns and stuff.

Caldera
Well, depends of what you call "cool", since Caldera is a bit backwater. But I like the architecture and the layout. I was tempted to say Ald Ruhn, but the wind is a pain.

I thereby banish you to Seyda Neen!!!!
I understand where your coming from, jsut ther aren't enough housese to "buy" in Caldera, so I really can't stnad that place.
I kind of like Pelagiad, but only until I've explored the little town completely.

Vivec Such a boring place.
I like the temple though. Even though some weak wacko named Vivec is in there
|
Vivec does get quite boring, I liekd the idea of exploring the sewers, but even that gets old. The place jsut feels liek agiant maze, filled with guys in cool armor, who attack me for looking just as cool as them.

With Light I was only able to illuminate fifty feet around me, and I got annoying shadows and light patterns. Night Eye fixes that.

Vivec is rather empty, but the foreign quarters are fun to climb up when teleporting from Crabman on your way back to Balmora. Jumping up that ramp has levelled my acrobatics? skill so many times because you can run up it and jump so many times each second.
Still, all towns pale in comparison to Balmora. Caldera is tiny. Pelagiad is tiny. Seyda Neen, if you blink as you run past you will miss it. Ald Ruhn is nice but the wind gets annoying. Gnesis is rather povo.
On the right side of the map, Molag Mar is just another canton. Sadrith Mora is the major town on that side, but the mushroom houses just don't do it for me. That sentiment covers most of the other towns there too.
Since Tass wants excitement though, I will banish him to Ahemmusa.

Another vote for Ald Ruhn. I don't mind the wind as much as other people...after all, I am an orc barbarian, so the wind ripping through my top notch makes me feel right at home. Plus, I like the Skar.

You should try the 'Vivec Expansion Mod'. It adds a lot of features to the outside of Vivec. The best part is they fit in to the decoration- it looks like it belongs.

Good console commands:
tgm: *cough* *cough*
fixme: Moves you a little, allowing you to escape from those little bugs like "the rope that won't let go" and "the sticky fencepost".
rc: Resets the NPC positions. Useful if the characters pathfinding is farked or the transport NPC as fallen into the water.

How so? Framerate wise? Are you using the framerate plugin that was included?
