"Erm... considering the lack of females in the village in the first place it would be extremely tough to repopulate, and now we just killed our resident shovel practitioner, IVF is out of the window as well," answered Chaunk

"You seem very up to date in all this medical riff-raff," said Theben "I may be aging, but I'd say YOU are the Mafia! Everyone knows medical people are experts with shovels!"

Chaunk sealed his own fate and was hung.

I voted and bolded my vote as per the rules on 04-03-2004 12:11.

Don't know why you missed it, my vote was discussed by Jamski afterwards. Will try to make it more obvious in the future so Jamski gets all the votes coming to him.

Chapter 7 (note - this is a English (British) translation)

The ground was clear. The calamity of the previous evening had dissapeared. A rag swept across the village green, as though the town were deserted. GhengisFarb was feeling extremely cantankerous on this mmorning in particular, mainly due to the fact he consumed one too many beers the night before while celebrating the offing of the Mafia with Guynemer. He was going to visit Jamski, as he needed some flour from his windmill if he was going to be able too cook a cake in time for the village party that afternoon.

On the way, he decided to visit Vlad Antlerkov's house, hoping to get his broom returned to him after Vlad borrowed it all those years ago. Suddenly, the heavens opened, and he rushed under Vlad's balcony, hoping to get inside before he got completely drenched and wouldn't have the time to make the cake.

Unfortunantly for Ghengis, he didn't realise that he would have to go into Vlad's-house-***-morgue, and thus uttered the clichéd words of "Oh my god! He's dead!" when he noticed Vlad with two bullet holes in his head, a football between his legs.

Before we start a random docpile, let's take a look at the facts:

The last 3 people killed by the mafia have had a 'v' in their names. Of course, no one is left with a 'v' in their name...

The 2 people killed by the gunman mafia were brothers and my sons, and I fear that the gunman will get me next. Now, who would benefit from killing off my family and me? Guynemer, that's who. He kills off me and my sons, and then he's the only surviving member of the family, and then he gets the farm and all of my posessions all for himself...

I am not the Mafia. I have never been the Mafia. I am aways killed off so I wouldn't be a good choice for a Mafia.

I think its the "fathers" of the town, or GodFathers if you will. Its subtle but obvious.

Therefore I vote for one of the Mafia GodFathers, Jamski.

My vote goes towards Skanky Burns, because he dyed his hair red recently. Red meaning the color of blood, b/c he just can't get enough of the sight of it. Also- without a doubt- he used "V- 05" color treatment to make it red. It's a clue!!
