"Absolutely, I'm hoping to be there Opening Day," Thome told MLB.com. "I'm shooting for the end of spring training, hopefully."
Thome hit. 266 with 47 homers and 131 RBI last season, his first with the Phillies after leaving the Cleveland Indians and signing a six-year, $85 million contract.

Is he practicing for a last place finish? Well, practice makes perfect.  I can only assume LoA lost internet connection after "picking" Boone because it would take a very discourteous person to make us wait hours while he posts jokes. 
How long do you want wait Imran? If we have a 24 hour deadline he has until around 11 pm est. I vote we bapay his ass now given the fact I waited several hours last night for him to pick and all he did was repeat what has become a really lame joke.
