Ok this is being officially polled right now.
I need a quick answer.
24 hour poll

We (the People's Army of the Ladder Team) propose that all currently unfinalized rule questions be resolved by Elucidius and the Admin Body for this game, and that all teams agree - for the sake of enjoyment, beginning the game , and compromise - recognizing that some teams are really having the fun SPOILED by all of this - that whatever resolutions and clarifications to the rules that the Admin Body comes up with, we accept without censure, comment, or complaint. Further, if at any point in game play something comes up which is not currently in the rules, we agree that the Admin Body is capable of and shall rule on all matters at that time, without censure, comment, or complaint. We are here to enjoy playing Civ, and wish to devote our entire energies to same. Under this proposal, we shall begin turn 1 this Saturday, or Sunday at the latest - any and all rules questions unsolved are unlikely to affect the initial turns and should not hold up the beginning of play.

This was put forth by FredrichPsitalon BTW

As this would be a way to "finalize" the rules (i.e: we leave it up to Elucidius), I am all for it.

They sure have, Ill probably just vote yes in the next couple of hours since our poll here is favorable. We should at least state our opinion.
Togas and OCT_X, I guess we need to be ready to go this weekend

Im glad its 9 to 2 because I voted yes about two hours ago.
Sometimes I get the feeling some teams aren't quite as democratic as we are........
