I'm told this is "Eye of God" as photographed by the Hubble.
Personally, I think it's Laz.

I decided to partition, actually. Leon has the system software, Tony has most of my documents, and Mathilda has all the big files: movies, music, video games, etc. Turned out to be more trouble than it was worth, but still, if I ever do have to reinstall, I'll be saving alot of valuable documents.
Plus, it helps keep me organized with so many files.

What's wrong with the Documents; Movies; Music; Pictures: and Applications folders already provided?

Listen bud, I don't tell you how to live your life!
The problem with them is that they exist in my user folder, which is in the system drive. If I ever need to reinstall OSX, those files will be erased along with them. This way, they are seperate from the system folder.

Not if you do what most people do - use the Archive and Install option. I can only think of one situation in which that wouldn't work, but Diskwarrior would be a cheaper option.

If you want to reinstall OS X or a newer version you choose the "Archive and Install" option when you boot from the install disk. It will create a fresh version of OS X and move all your user files to the new system. No reformat needed.
http://www.macworld.com/2002/10/features/install/
If you have disk trouble that Disk utility cannot fix, there is no point reformatting the disk when Diskwarrior will fix pretty much anything that is not serious hardware failure.

You should listen to "Tragic Kingdom" in its entirety. From start to finish.

A flatmate of mine had that and blasted it endlessly. I got fed up of it.
Have you tried Shapeshifter yet (another great unsanity product)? It's how I got my OS to look like NeXTStep - although there are nicer themes available.
