Ok, this game can be upgraded to 1.22
with great thanks to Alexman.
there is some mucking with biq files.
I am happy to do the game files upgrade to get this game from 1.15 to 1.22
all it then needs is for each of you to load the 1.22 upgrade\
interested???

I guess the options are now these then:
1. Stay with v1.15 until Firaxis announce a patch (that will hopefully allow compatibility)
2. Upgrade to 1.20 (1.15 saves are compatible, and PBEM bugs are fixed)
Option 2 would probably also require a dual install of v1.22 so new PBEMs and other games can be played normally.
For some reason I can't access Apolyton from home, only my work computer. I tried everything from deleting cookies to running norton windoctor to scaning for viruses but nothing seems to work. All I get is that 'web page is temporarily unavailable' screen.
Any suggestions?
