Ok, this game can be upgraded to 1.22
with great thanks to Alexman.
there is some mucking with biq files.
I am happy to do the game files upgrade to get this game from 1.15 to 1.22
all it then needs is for each of you to load the 1.22 upgrade\
interested???

Ok, Raz and I have quickly chattered about restarting this game in v1.22
the idea would be that each civ gets a starter pack of 4 settlers, 3 workers and 3 warriors.
how does everyone feel?

i can resend my turn to maki 1.20, then she could load it in 1.22.
wouldnt that work? (1.20 loads in 1.22 i mean, right?)
or how about doing the version directories. it doesnt require double installation, all it requires is knowledge of copying and pasting, how to make a 'folder' and how to use windows explorer

yeah I have 1.20 and 1.22 operating, and it did not upgrade for me
I also have Alexmans upgrade 1.15 - 1.22 version installed, and it does not make the game 1.22, it just becomes a hybrid game
any suggestions though...

you must of done something wrong then. I just did a test right now, from 1.15, then 1.20, and then 1.22.
it works as long as it is in the right order.
If its too much trouble though, i'd go for a restart, although i'd prefer saving the current state of the game
