Sorry, I forgot you took Cockfosters when deciding my station
I shall start at Shoreditch then
(although I still don't understand the game )

I'm trying to avoid the Gunners at Arsenal... but I had to in order to spring the wonderful counter-manouver against Frozzy's sneaky move. I'm sure he remembers, as do many of us, the 1703 Asian Semifinals, where Ho Bag created the infamous Shanghai Double Nisbit. I can only hope to be so lucky.

Nice move Imran, but things have changed since 1703. You totally overlooked Ian's low-profile but devillishy (sp?) clever move. But it gives me the chance to cunningly move to Blackfriars.
Spiff, nice move for a nOOb

If the Rullsford Gambit won't work here, I'll just have to move on to Ealing Boradway. As they say in the mean streets of America's ghetto's, YOU GOT SERVED!

Sneakly, Iain, but you left your right flank wide open to my Alington Slice by taking Putney Bridge

In response to Iain's sneaky move to Tottenham Court Road, I have little choice but to occupy Warren Street, plugging his left flank totally.

Embankment seems prudent at this juncture, and coming late to the game, I'll need the three green tokens this move allows me.

What?
Did my unexpected dilution of Robeson's Axiomatic Ploy confound you all, and so no-one can come up with another move?

I shall then go to Kilburn Park, which will give me at least two opportunities to ram DoY and derail him from victory.

Then I shall respond with a move to Caledonian Road. As per the 1878 Fair Trade, this invokes a shunting down the line, hence Chaunk is now at Temple. Sorry, but alls fair in love and war.

Temple! Curses!
Well then I'm gonna fall back into the style of Mme. Sylviane Rouchanne (Winner, as I'm sure we all remember, of the 1853 final) and call an old favourate. The Mackerel less, St. John's Wood.

I am aware that Mme. Sylviane Rouchanne won the 1853 final, but I'm afraid that I don't actually remember the game.
I think that I'll drop one of my favourite bombshells:
Dollis Hill

While that move cunningly sets this as a closed-circle game now, you still haven't countered a move to St. Pancras. An oversight I'm sure you are kicking yourself for.

I was about to object that it wasn't possible to escape the wicked Dollis Hill Loop to St. Pancras with the LV you have accumulated (unless you exchanged a vast number of tokens you do not currently have), but it would appear that the +1 version allows you a bonus to LV when heading southwest only. You scoundrel Burns!

Tis indeed my pleasure.
The +1 version does have some nice rule additions over the vanilla, but I feel that at times it just adds needless complications and breaks the balance of certain moves. I mean, what is up with the Moor Park rule additions, for instance? They take an already weak stratagem and nerf it further.
Still, there are the occasional gems.

Tsk, tsk, tsk. Burns, you may have fooled Duke, but this transparent move let one of your flanks wide open. To spare the work to the other gentlemen here, I should move to Bethnal Green myself.

Volontiers Spiffor!
(to further compound Skanky's misery, I shall take advantage of the excellent opportunity left open by Spiffor )
Parsons Green
Skanky - you have been placed in knipp for the next three turns.

Excellent! Whilst Spiffor and DoY pound on Skanky, I shall move to one of the truely underated powerhouses of the game, Bond street. I think you'll agree my position is looking strong

Although this will leave Skanky free room, Chaunk's position is too dangerous for it to go unchecked. I am sorry to leave you on your own with Skanky, Duke, but for the sake of the game, I have to move to Marylebone

I'm not overly worried by his Burnsship. Well, not stuck out at St. Pancras with the conditions as they are.
And with Cockfosters as his home station!
I'm tempted to bifurcate, but this might throw those players who are just beginning to dip their toes into the wonder that is MC, so I shall defer it for the time being, while keeping my options open. With the Circle Line wild at this juncture, then anything could happen. I was hoping we might have heard from Zopperoni by now, but it seems he has other irons in the fire than MC.

Which of course leaves the way open for Mornington Cresent.
Thanks for relieving the pressure off me, Spiffor.
Who's up for a new game?
I'll start at Wimbledon for something different.
