It must be Frozzy's turn.

Which rules are you playing? Can somebody link me to a page with the rules on for it, so I can join?

I presumed +1 rules like last time... It could be different though, and it's so long since the opening moves were made, perhaps people have forgotten their strategies ( ) so maybe a new game with a clearly defined ruleset is in order!

Southfields.
Just the +1 rules. I would be up for disabling the Westminster Gambit for this game though.

No chance!
I'm willing to engage in discussions about the validity of the Putney Bridge Reverse under these rules, but since we're playing from so many different time zones, then playing with the Tidal Variations would just lead to confusion.
So: Elephant and Castle leads us away from the draw of the Circle line, gives the next player a -2 LV penalty, and effectively cordons off the Victoria Line for the next round of turns.

Slow shunt to Upminster Bridge, which minimises the -2LV penalty

Totteridge and Whetstone, pushing things as far as they will go on the Northern Line, but falling just shy of the High Barnet maelstrom, which could have put me on my way to Terminal 4! You can't reach MC from here, but will you be able to find your way safely out of North London.....?

Well then, Uxbridge whilst declaring a corner on the U's, which means I get a move for free! +1 rules are great!
Holborn then, taking commanding position in the center. Although I firmly expect to be outplayed to the south, the Grynch nesbits should just about make up for it... I hope

I move to West Kensington. The major surprise is Frozzy opening himself up the the Buckingham Blitz. The only thing remaining to be seen is who puts the boot to him.

Hopefully we'll get a glut of new players from OT, after I took a leaf from MtG's book and made a rather blatant advert there.
The Brentford Bounce could also be used to initiate a reverse sweep from West Kensington to Dollis Hill, but whether the next player will even give Frozzy the chance to get out of this particular mess is another matter entirely.

Thanks for the head's up, duke o' york! Never would've found this game without your blantant advert in the OT...
Anyway, I'll start at Ealing Broadway. A very unorthodox move, I know, but I'm getting a late start and some risk taking is required if I want to have a chance.

I was first tempted to go to Lewisham, but then I saw Drake's position, and reconsidered. According to the current +1 rules, Drake could easily cut me in half with such move, which would be inconvenient.
As such, I shall go to Bermondsey. Perhaps not the strongest move, but a more cautious one

It's bifurcation time!
From Bermondsey to Northwood Hills (northern section), and Ravenscourt Park (southern).
If you can keep the balance between the two routes then this can be a powerful tool. If not then......
Remember that unless you can put both routes together again then you will have to try to direct them both to MC! Take care!
(Note: If you only take one thread to MC, then you must move on next turn. Both threads must meet there for you to win, and both going the same direction . No north-south conferences in this +1 version!)

Ooh, a devious tactic, usually used when the player has some other suitable combination card up his sleeve. Judging by your previous moves, I see a &-suit in the offing, and I think I shall waylay it with some pairings of my own.
Baker Street (northern)
Bond Street (southern)

Canary wharf (southern), bringing North American solidarity to bear and Finsbury Park again, this time for the sharp right hook.

Notting Hill Gate (District line northwards) and Notting Hill Gate (Central line westwards).
Showboating!
More entertaining than the boat race, by far!

Well, now that both lines have been united in Notting Hill Gate, it is a unique opportunity for me to go to Lancaster Gate, and reap the benefits from the triple gate rule. Of course, you may say it is not very fair-play of me to pull this trick, but heck, players are supposed to win the game they play, aren't they?

Shocking behaviour from the young Frenchman. If he'd have tried to pull that kind of shenanigans at Colonel Hartingley's Tuesday (MC) Club then he'd have been out on his ear before you could say "that's just not Mornington Crescent". Young people these days, I ask you!

I didn't expect this. But it will not be said that I lack resources: I call Moorgate upon you!

Now Moorgate is more flexible - covering the whole Bank branch with the option of stepping up to spring the offside trap at Farringdon. That did Johnny Rocco proud in the Semi-final at Monacco in '58.

I have to agree that Spiffor did well to come back from his slow start after "homing" Shoreditch.
However, Moorgate allows me the opportunity (under +1) to split the difference and take you all to visit one of my old favourite stations at Elephant and Castle. A green token is mine, to do so as I will with it. Probably just cash them all in to reverse the Beck's coefficient at some point, but the tactical options stretch much further than that.

Ack! Things are too cluttered in Zones 1+2, I'm retreating to Park Royal and sitting out the next turn hoping for a crossover bubble. Frankly the Metropoliton line is too exposed while people are still fletching.

Shepherd's Bush, biotches. My chances for victory are gone (thanks to Spiff's cautious play ), so it's time to engage in some comedy. St. John's Wood may be next...

Things are starting to open out again then, but the duke still has fingers in far too many pies. I think some nisnit channelling is in order to reduce the potential power of those green tokens.

Too many fingers in too many pies - too many interests in too many threads at once! South Woodford.
