Seen any interesting events lately?
I definitely have. An event is generally a good thing.

Clearly you are threadjacking. The topic is whether or not you have seen any events recently. Posting about an event is appropriate. All other posts are threadjacks.

I watched a wedge-tailed eagle eat a brown snake.
And a school of dolphins swimming and playing in a tidal estuary.
Then there was the Melbourne Grand Prix, but as I could hear that from my house, I couldn't be bothered to go and watch it.

Yes I just saw Pride Bushido and it was good. Crocop KOd his opponent with a high kicked and followed it up with a hard left punch to make sure he was out. Beautiful execution of physical performance and power. Beauty and the beast in the same move.
Also Ryan Gracie was able to really get a nice victory over his Japanese opponent. Unfortunately he hurt his knee and fell down from it, like a freak accident, and Ryan capitilized on it right then too.
Good grappling, definitely skilled grappling. Lots of Gracies in that event too so it was refreshing to see the whole bunch of them. Rodrigo impressed me with is solid striking game and he really is the future of the Gracie family with his master ground game combined with that nice stand up game. Really good performance I really liked it.

An old lady at work who asked me the same questions for a minute every 2 minutes had a "gastrointestinal explosion" and has died
On one hand, it's sad because she was nice.
On the other hand, she's not going to drive me up the wall anymore and I can finally get work done.
I am unsure how to feel.
But it is an interesting event.

It would only be a threadjack if I went into detail about your shortcomings. FE, the fact you snore very loudly. It wakes lil' Cindy in the middle of the night thinking the boofeyman's killing you and mommy, and the neighbors have started a petition drive to have the city install noise barriers around your house.
But since I did not raise the preceeding issue, your original topic is safe.

My country has made a big mistake. The victory of the PSOE highlights this and I will be renouncing my passport in due course aswell as my dual citizenship. I feel that I have lost faith in my country and the people have handed the terrorists a victory. Tis a truly a sad day in the history of my country. After this whole issue, I will not be returning to apolyton as I am exhausted.

It was a perfect winter day here today. Not too cold ('though the wind had a bit of a bite) and it was snowing all day long - real thick heavy stuff, with alot of wind to go along with it. It's the kind of weather that draws out the winter enthusiasts. When I went for my afternoon walk to the lake I saw a snow glider - the only other time I've seen it, it was being towed by a snowmobile and I thought it was some sort of joke, but it was outthere all by itself today, so I guess it actually works. Along with it where a couple of snowboarders slowing zig-zaging across the lake pulled by parachute-like kites. Further along, an ice fisher and his ~8 year old son where huddled behind a sort of half-igloo they built to shelter themselves from the wind as they fished.
I consider days like this to be worthwhile events in themselves.

I've seen many events lately I've even seen a few non-events in the ACDG, after Tass's Non-Event thread.

There are many events, several in this thread alone, and yet only one of y'all has found one!
