Hey, don't forget that some of those "20 year old pukes" are in the "company" so watch who you're disrespecting.

First off Oedo, I only use different names simply because I have different computers and cant recall my old password.
2ndly, I believe my contributions to this forum have been substantial over the years and ill put the shear volume of posts here up against anyones including yours.
As far as playing "Apolyton" games, most here are 1 x 1 deity players and I am not. So I just dont play here often. But there are plenty in the HOF that fit this same situation.

Strat, I keep you in my mind for future votes. But don't just disappear and "accidentally" reappear at the boards when another HoF votes will start.
this time I voted Scouse Gits, samson and solo.
Poor DarkCloud seems to miss it again.

Another guy I should have mentioned is Makeo. If there was a best and fairest game-player it'd go to him. Never quits, accept everything and plays for real fun.

i would totally agree with that , next time, as a block we should vote in an aussie...

The voting is done... three people were elected.
1. JohnT- -(97) 36--- 133
2. Scouse Gits- (90) 42---130
3. War4Ever---(87) 38--125
So Scouse Gits and War4Ever made it in.
Who should we support for the next election?

The Civ2-MP voting block is strong.
Cause we're all old timers who each get twice as many votes as those newbie civ3 folks.

Well... we got two out of three this time, but that was based on the carry over from last voting. There are some other Civ II people who are starting to move up on the list... I think solo and ozzykp and a few others already have some votes. We should concentrate on voting for people who already have votes (and that we feel deserve it) and also start setting the stage for others. Heck, if we could get one per election, that would be great.

Congrats Bud. It's nice to see we got a couple in. Especially for all those whiners that say only OTers make it in.
There is still a LONG list of MPers here that deserve attention. It will probably take a few cracks to get someone with enough prior votes positioned to win.
We should have our own preliminary vote here so we can vote as a block. It has proven to be most effective.

Whether we actually need a vote is debatable.... but some discussion would help. If you go to: http://apolyton.net/forums/showthrea...79#post2834779
You will see that we have some people with some votes already.
Solo - 66
Samson - 62
Harlan - 57
Berz - 33
OzzyKP - 30
Deity - 21
Eyes - 18
Kaack - 16
Slowthinker - 12
And some other people under 10
(excuse me if I missed somebody, but it is early in the morning and I've only had one cup of coffee.)
The trick will be to unite behind a few key candidates... but more importantly, make sure others still get at least ONE vote. If you fail to get a single vote in any election, you lose all your prior votes (or that's the way he has done it in the past)

Eyes, Kaak and/or Berz. The former two are HUGE influences to the mp scene, and Berz.. well, I guess he always gets HG

Dunno about the other two though.

I'm for Berzerker as MP candidate, though OzzyKP has contributed a lot as well.
My other votes? Solo and Samson probably, for their contribution to my Civ2 education.
Will gladly commit to making 2 of my votes toward the group consensus, then probably use the other to make sure another worthy Civ2 candidate (Baron O, La Fayette, SlowThinker, etc.) gets carryover.
BTW -- I think it's pretty important to agree on which name to use for Malevolent Light/HappySunShine/etc.
Congrats, War4!
