One more warrior and/or then the granary.
Lets make sure we get a forest chop during the granary build.
At Emporer who many pops can we have before disorder without a garrison?

First unhappy citizen is at pop 2.
Can someone check to see if we can actually pull the Settler out of Apolyton (i.e. not wasting shields with the settler completed and Apolyton not yet size 3)? I'd do it myself, except I don't know exactly how much food Apolyton has in the box. Also, since I favor the Warrior-Warrior-[Warrior]-Granary start, I don't want to be accused of fudging the calculations to make the "settler ASAP" start look bad.

if we have a third warrior, we will have MP up to size 3.
also, if planned properly, we could scout nearby areas (ie, the coast to our south, and prospective city sites) and be home in time to prevent unhappiness.

I would lean towards a worker to hook up the grape, then either continue building or possibly join back to the city to get the pop and spit out a settler asap. Will free up the other worker to chop some wood and get a grainary ASAP.

At this point, I think a warrior would be best.

Something cheap and easy, but then I'm not an option on the build Q.....
Warrior -> Granary -> Settler

WARRIOR
We can build 1-2 more warriors, then use the last one built for MP while working on our granary.
EDIT: I see that E_T and others agree with me.
