Please someone correct me and forgive me if I´m wrong, but do we need a replacement here? Am I wrong or people just gave up in the first turn?

No, some how ended up in my trash bin. I just pulled it out, I'm going to have to tinker with the #$@# spam filters again. I had to do it with Rubin Datalinks in a game I'm a replacement in. It turned out I was putting anything with "ink" into the trash bin (70% off on INK!), and Datal - ink - s was getting filtered. Apologies for the delay, will be out today.

Dont you think its funny?
CMN adjusted our turn order so that they are as fast as can be, but nowe seems that this is one of my slowest PBEMs
And the reasons - Spam filters and Low anatomical memory..
Kinda joke of 1st April

Maybe we all adopted a -2 PROBE behavior (you know, its difficult to gather everybody to play rapidly, infiltration of virus attack is a fact - thats for you Shaw! - we are having memory problems...
I suggest we adopt a FUNDAMENTALISTIC politics to this thread. PEOPLE, GATHER AND PLAY RELIGIOUSLY AS FAST AS YOU CAN. GOD WILL PUNISH YOU IF YOU DONT!! (Syster Miriam Godwinson - "We Must Dissent")

Hopefully this game will get moving soon. It'd be a shame to let this PBEM go. Also I was wondering since we're not going to fight each other, would you guys be up to writing occasional stories? To add a roleplaying aspect to this game?

Good Idea Data gave to us. I also like the idea of role plays, but I personally dont like the idea of Role Play Svensgaard... I dont like his personality very much.
But it can be interesting if we start to write short stories showing the daily activities of our respective nations by the passing of the years (turns). We can also show in those stories how each faction is evolving more and more after the discovering of new technologies, building of city improvements and Secret Projects, for example. we also can write how our particular faction see the others and maybe we can write cross stories.
Well I think that we can start another thread for this one, I liked the idea.

Hey, Cosmic, glad you're up for this. Everybody doesn't have to do this, I just don't want to be the only one .
You being my pactmate is even better - it'd be interesting to see how our factions would see this pacthood from their own unique persceptive. Would Pirates be comfortable or wary with emotionless CyCons, etc?
I'm sure we can just do our stories in here with our turns.

Guys sorry about this, but something unexpected has come up, and I'll be away from now until Thursday evening 5pm BST. It seems as if that won't slow us up much more, but i shall certainly endevour to not be the source of the delay from now on!
With regard to roleplay, I'm sure I could be pursuaded to write something... It'll be more interesting when we've met each other though.

Turn2103 to Chaunk
At long last..
I see weird things in my diplomacy screen every time it pops up..
Last time I was Angels & Makahlua was Morgan, this time I was Pks and Makahlua was Morgan again!
Good thing those .ini files!
Why do PKs have so little might (look at the "faction might")?

2103 to Cosmic. We PK's are aparently "small" because we're well practiced in the art of deception and apearing too insignificant to bother with...

Cosmic, if you have the following lines in ini:
Faction 1=PEACE
Faction 2=PIRATES
Faction 3=UNIV
Faction 4=ANGELS
Faction 5=DRONE
Faction 6=CYBORG
Faction 7=MORGAN
The only thing that comes to my mind is that maybe you accidentaly added some lines to ini file when replacing those faction declarations.
What you can try also is start just a game, it can be on any map, with the same factions arranged as in our PIOT game - ini file will addjust itself

Please resend turn - my wife's university is changing the email system in 40 some odd days and they keep taking the current system down and evidently Cosmic isn't getting bounced messages (or they're getting filtered due to the bogus malware ones out there). Please resend the turn with the reply when opened option on the email, that way when I open it you'll know that I got it. Apologies, but until they get it transferred over this is going to randomly happen, I couldn't get on-line for six hours today. Send to hjcarr01 at athena.louisville.edu - as soon as Google makes it available, I'm thinking about getting their new spy mail, -2 probe rating.
