(2) Works like a charm...
With (1) I got only one result (I clicked the link in your post, so it searched for your threads). So it does something. It's also rather slow, taking something like a minute before I even get the "search in progress" screen... Here's a screenie:

#1 usually gives me 1 or 2 results, and it seems like they're always different ones too (currently it only lists "new FORUMS SEARCH SYSTEM", same as Mercator).
#2 works like a charm.

1) after a long time, I get a message, seemingly based on a search
"Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms."
On a somewhat related matter, why does the site log me out??
If I move around the site reading something here, posting, changing pages, changing fora, all is okay. But, if I take a break in place, to get a sandwich for instance, when I come back, I am logged out. Nothing changed except time between now and the last click.

Same as Locutus. Also no dotted envelope on number 2. Oh, and number 1, returning just one result, also took me pretty long to open.

They both log me out. On logging in again they take me to the front page 
Guess its a good job I never need to use this feature.

1 'works' for me the same as it did for Mercatore Uno. 2 seems to work fine, although the sorting of previous posts seemed wrong.
