What a low act
Alexander's Horse , Makeo and I where playing a friendly 3 hander and as luck would have it Makeo got a huge lead and sent his spaceship on its way.Realizing I had of chance of winning I did not try to attack Makeo. I sent some transports full of frieght to him and 2 years before his spaceship landed he attacked me. What a low act

I see, and he should have just trusted you were sending freight and not 16 howies? And even if he was about to win, should he have allowed you a free shot at mangling his capitol What a meanie!

In Hydey's case, ten tons of Fosters.

Hydey, I think you'll find most people would have done the same thing under the same circumstances. Did you tell Makeo trade was on the way?

Well now! Had it been me, and I had known it was 10 tons of Fosters they would have been spared! Otherwise there would have been revolt in Crusthavn.

I would be happy to trade fosters as long as I don't have to drink the crap. Now as for VB , I would keep that all to myself.

I had been trading happily with Makeo for 2000 odd years without first telling him it was on its way. Then suddenly without warning he attacked my 5 transports full of freight, that where heading for his capital.

I may have made a mistake but I was sure his capital was demanding MARINES.

Yeah... what a meanie!
If nobody had a chance to win, what difference does it make if he attacked or not. And Berz raised a good point. Who really knows what was in that stack

Yeah a capital is a most sensitive area when building and after launching a SS.
What would some loaded transports look like to someone who launched a SS?
I would have sunk em (if possible) and I'm not mean

Yeah well, it's a bit different when your spaceship's on its way. You get paranoid. Justifiably. You should have advised him.

Hehe. Hmm my spaceship is two years away from landing. Suddenly four fully loaded transports, some cruisers and a sub appear off the coast of my capital. Of course i think, the good old japanese are about to send thirty freight all at once to the one city, I better let them through. I'll just right click on them, whats this there is a marine on board. Must be just one marine and seven freights.

I think I might send those 30 military units to the bottom of the sea.

oh yeah and the very next turn the Greeks attacked me capturing a city then stole about 15 techs. Amazing how fast they managed to build those units. Its almost as though they knew the japanese were planning an attack. Surely not.

Hehehe!! Demanding marines eh? What a thoughtful neighboring Civ. Good try Hydey, it might have worked with Magellans.

Greeks? Horses thank you very much!

This is a noncooperation game but when the ever peaceful Hydey is visciously attacked, the Horse Empire cannot stand aside!

Demanding marines..LOL.Most capitols demand howitzers.

I'm sure the timing of your respective aggressions was co-incidence.

It's nice to see the baton in nice, gentle hands...I mean, no offense, Horse, but I didn't see any censored words in your post...I thought all war mongers were like Eyes...

I unfortuantly agree with Makeo, any transports , especially those accompannied by Submairnes and cruisers, deserve swift action once my SS has been launched. (Not that I ever get that far ) Next time Hydey use nukes (If Allowed)

You can click on a transport to see what's inside? Argh!
