A one time proposal for the OT Chess Match
Since there is a titanic battle starting between Reismark and Maxxes, I would like to propose, for this one event only, the concept of post gambling.
The idea is simple: Bets are placed and accepted, but instead of wagering money we would wager posts. If I wanted to lay down 150 posts on Maxxes, someone (say AH) could match me by picking Reismark. The winner gets 150 posts added to his/her login, the loser gets 150 posts deducted.
Whaddya think? Any suggestions on improving this idea? We need a book - anyone with experience and/or knowledge *glances at Ming/Rah* want to do it (or give me advice on how to do this?)
Btw, the chess match can be followed here.

The spam issue is why it could only be a one time event. Regular "gambling" would create not just spam, but SPAM.
Anyway, given that the chess players are getting advice (thereby tainting any victory), perhaps the chess match isn't the best event for this idea.
The next Super Bowl, anyone?

Sorry JohnT, and supporters of this proposal, but we're going to have to deny your request.
Now that we have made an official response to this suggestion, this thread is closed.
