Again AH, it's NOT the microing that takes time. It is done between turns. But the unit movement itself does take time.
I sense it is good weather for fishing?
Or baiting

Any chance of getting a session of this game in Tuesday night? If not, Hydey and I are going to start a duel since we are the only ones that consistently show up.

I hope Deity doesn't mind - I'm on a roll:
Deity and Monotony
Live together in perfect harmony
Slumped beside my keyboard
I'm bored, Oh Lord, please shoot me!

Wot? Deity said you were buggered. That's where the whole notion of pulling the plug started. Were you misquoted?

How about verse 2 then:
We all know
That players are the same wherever you go,
There are fast and slow, in every game,
It's Deity's turn,
Learn to deal with boredom
And Makeo's the same
I hate this F*cking game.

Hey, D, not that I'm being pedantic - who, me? - but I think you'll find it's "drink - a - drink - a - drink - to Lily the Pink". Cute song. Group called Scaffold. Paul McCartney's brother, Mike, was a member. Called himself Mike McGear for some unknown reason. Probably didn't want to be associated by name with the twayte who would later write "Ebony and Ivory". Which many were doing their best to forget, Horse. Thanks very much.
PS. I've got Gyppo tonight.

After some initial gains by the Deiticians into Aztec territory due to their surprise attack the battle has stabilised, creating a stationary front south east of Killdeer.
Aztec losses include the cities of Iztapaluca and Ayotzinco as well as the destruction of a further outlying village. Military losses have been few due to the small garrisons stationed in the captured cities.
Deitician casualties have been scarce although recent lighting raids from the Killdeer forts have seen the destruction of a small Deitician expeditionary force as well as the destruction of the newly built Deitician invasion port city.
Aztec military losses have been greatest in the naval sea battles occuring in the Bay of Azteca off shore from the killdeer front. The larger but inexperienced Aztec navy has been decimated by the smaller Deitician navy. Current intelligence sets the current naval losses at.

Sorry to interrupt the serious stuff here, but I've just discovered I've been committed - without my knowledge - elsewhere tomorrow (Friday) night. Bummer. So Makeo can get out on the turps with his floozies with a clear conscience.

Yeah AH, I agree....
We are stalemated with fortesses on both sides south of Killdeer. Neither side can break through. I was very unlucky with my plan which was to build that 'invasion' city. But the first city was destroyed by the Sioux many years ago and makeo accidently found the 2nd one
Now the Aztecs have had a chance to build up their defences.
However, my objectives have basically been achieved:
1) Secure more territory for the 'yo ho ho hydey ho' alliance;
2) Equalise world techs and drasticaly slow the enemies research rate;
3) Keep the Tactics tech from the enemy
4) Secure NW Onion Island from imminent Zulu invasion And teach finbar a lesson in balance of development!

Meanwhile the Horse Empire rejoices under the leadership of Comrade Horse who makes Kim Jong Il look like a liberal. The Horse empire turns inward whilst the rest of the world fights, having established the workers paradise and a handy network of labour camps.
